DIY Class A/B Amp The "Wolverine" build thread

55Lx44Wx23H mm - Mind you some people are diehard no SMPS. It's an option anyway if you want compact.

TMPW 5-112-T - it was one of the smallest screw terminal panel mount designs I could find, and 5W was enough for my speaker protects. (I forgot to add an aux winding to my toroidy order, and tbh didn’t really have the room for another rectifier board anyway). You will need to make sure any auxiliary supply for your housekeeping/protection has enough wattage to cover everything.

There are loads of alternative styles, shapes and brands of micro power supplies. Check out mouser.com or DigiKey - products - power - power supplies - AC/DC power supplies to find something that suits your build.

Gianluca,

An idea might be to get a few different versions out:

EF3-3
EF3-4
EF3-5

The only differences are the overall lengths. The hole drilling and spacing between the BJT’s should remain the same.

In the center put an engraved diyAudio emblem or Wolverine emblem (from the silkscreen on the pcb) if Stuart et al will share.

Just throwing out ideas. If you end up starting a group buy, then with a large order volume it might be worth your effort and time.

Thanks again for thinking of us.

Anand.
