Try adding a 100ohm resistor in series to the middle pin (wiper) for each channel. This trick usually cures most noises in the pot due to oscillation etc.
Right channel led not glowing as bright as the other and no sound in that channel... hum still there...I moved some wiring and that came about.... I’ll appreciate any help. And for what I could hear I could tell that it sounds fantastic
Try poking around the board with something non-conductive when powered. I had a half lit LED. It was a questionable joint on one of the JFETs (SMD)—spotted by 6L6 from a very high res image. Also.. post some well lit images. Smart peeps here.

Status: left channel only producing sound because of issue that burned the right channel led which components might have been affected?
Hum is still there more like a loud noise and can be heard even with the amplifier off, still louder when amp is on, thru loudspeakers. Checked power supply and is ok. Shall appreciate any ideas. Thanks.

Well, it’s working. No hum or noise. I have it connected to my F4, no gain issues, volume control is at 3 o'clock with my 94 db efficient Spatial M4’s TM.
Soundstage is enormous and very dimensional. Even with only 30 minutes on, I do not
hear any sort of analytical artifacts very smooth and musical. The issue was one of grounding. I will redress the wiring with better wire and do it more neatly. The wiring I had on hand and used is too rigid.

Received my GlassWare Dual/ bipolar PSU yesterday.
Thought I had ordered it for 18v, the resistors they sent were for the 15v option.
Good enough, or should I order the 1.69k?

Hello,
Got me some boards from the store for this winging it to me and i was wondering would a 25k alps pot be suitable for volume control for this ?
Thanks

I'm coming in late on this one. Will there be a build guide using the board the store offers? Is there a BOM in an earlier post? I've built the B-1 and Pearl 2 with happy results, and this looks very intriguing.
mouser bom:
Mouser Electronics, Inc. Europe
note R15/30 has changed to 47k
no build guide yet, but its painting by numbers
cheers A.

That's what I used, 25k ladder pot from ebay.

Larry - yes, the guide is forthcoming. I’m actually working on a very simple version right now, but the guide will cover more than one way to do it. But don’t wait for it (since I’ll be assembling it version by version slowly...)
It really is a paint by numbers project, build a PSU, wire the chassis inputs and outputs, stuff the board, attach it all together, adjust offset, done. 🙂

Thanks Jim. I'm going to start ordering parts today. I assume that some of the stuff that is backordered at Mouser can be had at Digikey or elsewhere--haven't looked yet. Been too long since I smelled solder.

What is everyone doing for PSUs for this project? I still have boards available ideal for this as it's based on the PSU in the whammy so it's dead quiet. Someone asked me about organising a group buy but I can't remember who.
Quick little project using up some parts and pieces laying around. (The benefits of a well-stocked parts closet.)
Mean Well has a small selection of bipolar PSU bricks, this one is +/-15v (and also has +5v that will be unused for now) and I'm greatly looking forward to trying it. GP25A14E-R1B EDIT: I'm not having good luck with this PSU. Hold off from buying this for the time being.
Build will be the 'large outputs' version since I have an headphone jack to use up. 🙂
More photos as I progress.
