I‘m not ok with you spending many hours doing the correction for us.
I‘m fine with either DIY the correction, as well as with a new, corrected board for a pugno di dollari more (which won‘t happen as the replys indicate).

No problem making the change to the existing board. As a backup, how about offering the Gerber files to participants, as well?
Thanks for all your efforts!

Unfortunately, I do not have Gerber files with the correction. My existing PCB layout tools (ExpressPCB and Gerbv) do not include a way for me to edit or produce the Gerber files.
I managed to directly edit the Gerber bottom layer file using a text editor. This is the needed correction. I will put together a zip file for collection of layers.
The poll has closed. I decided to do the easy part of the repair on all 100 PCBs. I used a 2mm flat end mill in a drill press to cut the trace. (It only took about 1 hr.) The PCB recipients will need to add a wire, as shown in the first image of post #190, after the components have been soldered into place.
Definitely a faster method than scrape, scrape, scrape, scrape and cut.
Nice fix lhquam 😉

Hi @lhquam
Thanks for the list.
Are the shipping fees of $26 usd accurate, I’m finding it odd that it’s cheaper to send your package to Australia and Europe at $22…Canada and US are neighbours after all. Thanks.

It’s likely the Canadian side pushing up the cost. I sent a tonearm lifter (featherweight) in a bubblepack (also featherweight) from Toronto to Montreal - $14.00. Compare that to boards & FETS at $6.00 within the US. Ouch!Hi @lhquam
