Anyone know where to buy 2SC5171 other than ebay. I don't trust ebay.
If you really need 2SC5171 send me an email - have a look at the index at post #1. The design itself has been finally evaluated using 2SC4793 and 2SA1837. (see post #1145 - 1150 and index post #1).

Thanks, I got the 2SC4793 already. I just wonder anyone still sell 2SC5171 as it's a slightly better transistor with higher fT.
From your experience, How reliable is LTSpice it simulating stability and phase margin?

So far good results (I'm using the Tian method) but depends on the quality of the transistor models too. The simulated designs in this thread and the used transistor models are relatively close to the reality.

A good engineer can calculate it on paper, using known data. The simulator is the same thing, just automated. If you have good models and accurate input the simulator can be very accurate.
Hi, can you tell me the ULGF of the Lfet version?
As far as I remember it is around 2.5 MHz. The design of the lfet amp isn't yet finished...
I finally have the astx running.
It's taken me a long time and it sounds nice.
Operating on ±48Vdc supply rails and biased to 510mA through the 3pair Lateral mosFET output stage.
The transformer is 240:4 * 34.5Vac for two isolated channels.
It will do 105W into 8ohms one channel driven and rises to 178W (-0.7dBW ref 8r) into 4ohms one channel driven.

Any mobile phone available? Family, neighbours ... 😕no digital cameras.
I have analogue cameras that are over 20years old and they still work.
I have 4 digital cameras and none of them are capable of getting pics into a PC.
I give up.
Modern crap is so unreliable.

At least one of your digital cameras will have either a memory-stick, sd-card or a camera-pc or usb-interface. For memory stick and sd-card you will get ultra cheap universal readers here for example at amazon searching for
"All in One USB Multi Digital Camera / Mobile Phone Picture Memory Card Reader".
For camera-pc or usb-interface you need a special cable and for camera-pc interface also mostly a special software.
OTOH as owner of 4 digital cameras you will have some contacts to local dealers to print your photos - I'm sure they will help you to import or scan and email some photos for free or a small fee...
You are right!...

I told you, none of the 4 digital cameras work.
Two are included in mobile phones and two are stand alone cameras.
All have broken !

I could lend/send you an old but working digital camera with usb if you want ...I told you, none of the 4 digital cameras work.

Christmas is coming. Maybe I'll be lucky and get one !
Maybe I'll be really lucky and get one that is reliable.

Nice!
Where you got this and what is the price?
Have a look at the url: https://www.schaeffer-ag.de/en
Unfortunately the price is rather high ... but the quality is exceptional.

P.S.: If someone needs the resulting "fps" file for uploading to the manufacturer, send me a PM.

Hopefully Santa will drop a digital camera out of his sleigh for AndrewT. I have my Dad's old Fuji Finepics, still going after 10+years, eats batteries, but does the job. Every time I go to use it the NiMH's are dead, so just use cheap alkaline instead.
Good luck with the exicons/semelab devices, i think they are great devices. They sing in the OPC LME49830 wireamp design, so I am sure they will even be finer with this design.
I'd like to hear AndrewT's or anyone else's assessment vs the OPC wireamp version that I recall AndrewT saying he made as well.
Cheers guys
