One moment away from the baby genesis!
Happy soldering.:)
What kind of solder wire are you using?
Thx!

Mostly I'm using "alpha NO CLEAN Fluitin 1532, 0.75mm".
(funny: There is an expiry date printed with 2016.06.03 - but still doesn't "smell" and is good to solder - maybe some RoHS expiry date?)

I have RoHS solder wire too but to solder using the pb-free solder wire is painful ...

Final design sa2013

Hi astx,
Need your help with the power amp sa2013
This project and discussion is quite long and a lot of corrections.
Can you help and show me where is the final design and schematic. Did you build this project to your satisfaction?
I have seen that you changed the main Vcc supply from +/-70 vdc to +/- 63 vdc and a lot others small changes.
I am very curios to know if is working properly.
Your help and answers are very much appreciated.
Best regards,
Williams

Dear Williams,

have a look at the index in first post of this thread.
SA2013 has been renamed to SA2014. => see index position "A) SA2014 (200W@8R, 400W@4R"

Rail voltages are +/- 72V when listening low power and +/-62V when providing continuous full power 400W@4R.
You need to use minimum 80V capacitors in your power supply when using 2x50V transformers. For a single channel a 600VA transformer is recommended.

The amplifier is running perfect nearly every day. No known problems.

BR, Toni

P.S.: Steve aka "SGK" has build it also successfully - see links in index.

Unpacking procedur.

The first time that i be able to have such a thing!:santa2:
I hope that my SA 2015 will be very happy in this house soon.
