Wonderful low end….very well balanced sound…takes quit a while to warm up.
Observation: when adjusting Iq, on the bench, the heatsink (hs) was laying down…it just kept creeping up so I kept adjusting as it warmed up. I hit the end of the adjustment! So, as soon as I stood up to normal position with hs flowing, the Iq dropped quit a bit. Of course the entire time the covers were on. Once everything warmed, about 2 hours, it dialed right in & stayed there.
Love those heatsinks!!

They are cool (looking)... from the LED industry? I saw another project up here somewhere where they were used... can't recall.. mind sharing your source?
Wonderful Mono’s Monk!
Love the wood/aluminum combo.
@pfarrell, the HS’s come from non-working solar inverters.

Nice, very nice. Must be cold in the winter, huh?
Neat... but if you're gonna do audio porn... get some $40 power cables from Amazon.... do they sound different? Who knows? Likely not. But they are a B!!tich to maneuver into place into place and they look good. They sure will match that really nice case you put together in there. Better than those bright colored power cords (where did you get those? Toys'R'Us? )
Monosaudio HiFi Audio AC Power Cable, Power Cord with 3-Prong US Version Rhodium Plated Plugs, 12AWG Audiophile Power Cord 125V 15A, Braided Sleeves Power Line (6.6FT/2M)
Sure, a 15A line into a preamp is sort of overkill, but it sure looks good.
So what's the rest of the stereo set up? DAC? Preamp? It sure looks like it's begging for an Android Tablet, Tidal, USB-OTG cable into that DAC.
Now listening to the Dead, Promised Land ( Live in Veneta, Oregon, 8/27/72) 24/96. They did overdrive the vocal mikes a bit, but The Dead in the early 70s had incredible drive and musicality.

Take M. Davis Fran dance album
If Brass (especially when you hear Miles's trumpet) sounds dull and boring, something is wrong with your system
If it's on the verge but not actually drilling your brain - that's proper system you have

Yeah, but it's the material.
I like the cloth and the shiny metal rings.... It just looks so... so.... High End. 😵😉
If it were up to me, all connections would be on the front panel... just like in telco/internetwork units for the Euro market. Show off the wires!

Cooked for two hours this morning first time both channels reset lq and offset. Power off, removed 01Rs at negative rails and torqued PS cap PCBs. Next step is to set input buffers. Image below shows Schurter fuse holders which match the IEC inlet. They’re nice and not expensive with good lugs.
removed 01Rs at negative rails
temporary 0R1 was necessary in first gen of SissySIT
from R.3 - you have permanent 0R11 in both rails
^ helpful I see R138 and R139 0R22 in parallel = 0R11 permanent in both rails.
cooked amp for six hours yesterday lq drifted up both channels. Readjusted lq / offset.
cooked again this morning, set input buffers.
Question - may I install the jumpers while the amp is powered?
