A quick update to my F4. An easy access power switch! My wife was really tired of having to reach around the amp to turn it on and off and ordered me to install an "easy switch"! 😀😀

I've done that , on bottom , slightly higher feet and white led glowing down

Same here 🙂
Switch is still on the back, but LED is on the bottom. Added a piece of perspex to guide the light to the front.
Just don't have the tools (and the guts) to drill the front plate.

Here is the pic! Upside down but you get the idea!

ZM, i wanted to put the switch on the bottom but the toroidal is up front and in the way. I would also have to drill through the metal internal base so alot of extra work.

In the ground next to the toroidal transformer you can see an Arduino Nano, where the two 1-Wire temperature sensors (18ds20) and the Display go. The temperature sensors can be seen on the second picture from above.
The Display has an RGB backlight - when the amplifier is cold, the display is blue, when it is at the right temperature, the display is red.

The trigger input is handled by the Arduino as well I guess ?
