Have a look at the first stage with the JFETs. It connects to the positive rail but not the negative rail. It draws power from the positive rail but not the negative rail. Eureka.
If you wish you can solder a 1.5K ohm, 0.5 watt resistor between Vneg15 and ground, which will increase the negative rail current draw another 10 mA. Now both rails draw 55 mA and balance is restored to the Force.

Some progress…. PSU checks out, no drama (thank you Mark!). Faceplates to come.. Lid not done…
@rhthatcher and @6L6 are putting together a build manual that will have Mouser and Digikey part numbers. I've put together a mostly complete Mouser cart to assist them in the effort, but the complete parts list and build guide are being worked on by those fine gentlemen.
At this time, it looks like it will be necessary to obtain parts from more than one supplier.

if it's intended for Store (agreement between Wayne and DiyACrew), then it's matter of proper manners not to post (anyone's) gerbers in public

Having the boards in the store helps support the diy website.
The boards are also a known quality to help insure a successful build.

Having just successfully and enjoyably completed my second Korg B1, I’m all in for supporting the store. I haven’t had that much fun legally for ages. I feel fortunate to be a beneficiary of so many great people with knowledge that makes my head spin but the kindness and patience to help us hopeless noobs survive and actually make something that works. The forum and the store totally rock.
My first project that introduced me to learning EE, was actually b1k from store 😁 My only beef was i paid twice as much due to lack of shipping options outside of US. Hope it manages to change soon, i know how logistics can be a pain..
Bwahahaha. So when are you going to actually get an iron and build something.
Of course you’re one of the Sissy-masters i’ve learned quite a bit from, even if you are scared of low voltages.

Awesome project!
What is the benefit of having the discrete output stage? Just higher drive capacity?

Not only that... but did you know the DIYaudio store has a better price on the Burson opamps than Burson does... even after the mailed sale coupon?
I like sending some of my money to the DIYaudio store. Help the cause, you know?
are for Sissies

Don Alek... you got to stop posting after your after dinner cigarette and brandy. ;-)
It was YOU who named the amp Sissy, huh? Huh? Every time I reach over to turn it on I swear my cojones shrink!
BTW, I got more heating numbers.... turns out the Aleph 2 crank out heat.... The Sissy is a sissy in that respect. I'll post my 2nd stage of the experiment mañana, amigo.
The Macho Bablefish SIT is on its way... we'll see how that one puts out therms...
