Sorry, that was not intended with the post in any case. I see it more as a win-win situation. Currently, there is no one who offers a complete case kit for the Hypex DLCP. With such a kit, the number of DIY Hypex customers will increase. This can also be seen in the NCore NC400 modules, for which Hypex has been offering a housing for a while. More customers -> more investment in better software and new capabilitie.
Can someone help me to figure out how to wire DLCP powered with SMPS-DLCP with SMPS400 and UCD400OEM in order to use its standby functions?
When I power-up SMPS-DLCP from mains the DLCP start-up normally. I need to switch it off with IR remote and I am assuming that then it is going into standby? Is it possible to put DLCP into standby right after connecting to mains and to keep it in standby to the moment when I switch it on with IR remote?
I would like to control SMPS400 power with DLCP so just one pressing of IR remote ON button would power-up all four connected SMPS400 and all six amplifiers together. Is it possible? Now in my setup only SMPS400 controls power of connected UCD400 and this works flawlessly but when all 4 SMPS400 are starting-up you probably get an idea that there is big inrush peak through rocker switch. When DLCP is in standby there is a way to control SMPS400 in order to put it also in standby. Support from Hypex was told me how to do it but I cannot find that e-mail and from what I remember it wasn't all clear to me... 🙁
There is something called "Standby Output Voltage" which is present on 6th pin of J2 in SMPS-DLCP immediately after connecting to mains. What I deducted from datasheet i need to put some DC voltage into standby input of DLCP in order to make it standby, but it seems that SMPS-DLCP doesn't do it after pluging to mains so everything start-up immediately.
So if someone will be able to make me clear to this it would be great...

The cable with 2x5pin box header (from SMPS DLCP to DLCP) also supplies the standby voltage to the DLCP. Did you check if this voltage is supplied on pin 6 ?
Yes, it is present right after connecting to mains. It seems to be internally connected into DLCP but how to manage this pin in order to make DLCP standby right after connecting to mains?
When switching on mains, the system starts up operating. You may then put it into standby from there... Amps and their SMPS need to be connected to AMPstby and SMPSstby lines. Otherwise , you only send the DLCP to standby and the AMPs and their SMPS stay on.
In the old HFD there was a function allways on, but it was grayed out because there was a bug with it. I have to check if this is corrected in the new HFD.
This is the function I meant

It is still not working. The problem was if you deactivated this function in a setup without a standby power supply, the dlcp didn't power up anymore.

It's a pity it can't be done now. It seems that Kii three is using this approach without problems with some new revision of DSP module.
Has anyone try to Mod the elcos in the dlcp? Would adding cerafines be a good idea? Placing them around the regulators?

😱😱😱
Why would you do that? There no elco's in the signalpath, it is DC coupled!
They are all power supply buffering.

I changed some of the elcos in my older 180s and 400 and it improved the sound a lot. I added cerafins and Elna silica. So I was curious if someone has tried this with the dlcp as well.😱😱😱

I think most of us agree with ds23man, but I for one would love to see measurements and double-blind listening test results from your improvements.
I don't think we can expect to see many double blind tests before equipment to perform such test are easily available. I'm sure many would actually like to blind test but it requires equipment few can build for themselves and is to expensive to buy today.

In many cases, a simple switch (2.5 eur) will do.
It will require two dlcps. I do not have two, so only very subjective results will occur.

You could perhaps do measurements?
Doing some test with the six 7805s feeding the D/A converters. I added 22uF/25V Elna cerafins on the bottom side. I did not remove the original capacitors. I could not measure much difference in the voltages or noise on the powersupply. Now burning in.
