Take a photo of troubled parts and bring it here. Perhaps, Russ or Brian or someone in expertise may give you a better advice. Avoid handling the board in a rough way or do not repeat unyielding treatment so many times.
The best way will be to heat the pad with your soldering iron and gently pull one pin at a time - a little at a time.going around to all four until you have them all out. Then suck the solder out of the pads once you have it free.
Russ do I need a Rhea pair or just 22.5mhz Rhea for 44.1 material. Can I use 22.5 MHz pair with 45mhz
It may be easiest, if you have not finished already, to heat and remove each pin incrementally from the Rhea board. They are press fit and soldered, but there is a lot less pin to remove this way (it would leave the long end of the pins in the Cronus). You can then simply heat and remove each pin.
I am awaiting a recommendation before I order again. Does Rhea modules need to be in pair or it can be a single module for desired frequency.
ok the Rhea modules are out.I had to apply heat from component side to each pins and it was quick. But in the process I had to sacrifice the pins.
Anyway feel relieved that Cronus board is left without any damage.
Now when I need those Rhea modules I have to source those pins. Or may be I can buy them Brian with my next purchase of Rhea modules.

I think your question has been already answered. A 22 Rhea is enough for CD but having both of 22 and 24 Rhea boards will be much better for future application of the Cronus board.

BCK (Bit Clock) and DCK(Digital Clock) are two different names that can be used for the same signal - different manufacturers will typically use one or the other. Because we know folks will look at datasheets we use the name the DAC manufacturer uses on those modules.
There is a GND position for the terminal block (next to D2). Use that.

Before asking this question, you might want to learn how to change balanced output to single-ended output like RCA. Even before ordering this opus kit, you should have been to be well aware of what type of output the opus has. It is clearly mentioned in the manual and I'm sorry to say that it's apparent that you didn't read it.
Anyway, the best way to solve your problem is to hook up IVY-III or Legato to the opus for SE output, i.e. RCA connection. BAL connection to RCA is possible but you'll have to enjoy noisy sound.

ok ,I will get a Legato ASAP,i will try with noisy setup for now,which is short ground and neg and use as shield and positive for center pin of RCA,correct?
Positive(+) for RCA center(hot) and GND for RCA shield(ground). Hope this will work for you.
