What's the advantage of getting ATH to work with AKABAK? I've never tried AKABAK. I've read posts in the forum saying it's easy to use for simple concept simulations. ABEC + ATH has been so easy that I never had incentive to see what AKABAK offers.
simply not having ABEC.
I actually like what akabak is offering and am currently working through the provided examples to get to the point of being able to build my concept speaker with crossover and everything...
But for quick iterations and proof of concepts i would much prefer a stable connection between ath and ABEC.

On the Ath website there is a link to ABEC, stick to that AKABAK can work but it is far from plug and play.simply not having ABEC.
maybe i am blind and very much unable to find that link. Seen it mentioned many times...On the Ath website there is a link to ABEC, stick to that AKABAK can work but it is far from plug and play.
Maybe not blind because it seems to have gone. Try this instead

thank you @fluid, i finally got it running. SB26CDC dome in a waveguide with enclosure. Looks bad but you got to start somewhere...
Finally i can get into optimization. I really hope calculation time is quicker on my CAD workstation. This result took me 2h on a pretty quick laptop, but it seems to be RAM limited.

Are you able to use CircSym with a dome tweeter profile (ABEC.SimProfile = 0)? It makes processing a compression driver horn fast but I've never tried it with a dome tweeter source.
CircSym only works if the whole assembly is axisymmetric, right? Can´t be used if theres an enclosure involved.
Do we have ROSSE parameters for ATHEX-460-36 or EXAR-400-25?
R-OSSE = { R = 200 r0 = 18 a0 = 6 a = 39 k = 1.8 r = 0.3 b = 0.3 m = 0.8 q = 3.7 }
No, they are proprietary. You can buy the models and have them printed for you, if you want one.
Has anyone tried having GPT4 read this thread and the documentation pdf to update it accordingly?
BC released DE350-8 with twisted phase plug (logical move), polymer diaphragm, 1kHz crossover.
250mm wide waveguide with dome tweeter in infinite baffle normalized to 10°
my plan is to mate it to a 10" Paper Woofer at 1300 Hz
I have yet to find a way to reduce enclosure influence/randomness
Learning loads since simulationfrequency was increased when using my proper PC. 68Gb RAM in use, almost never have seen that before..
Is it possible to get a copy of the Ath4 software? I can't seem to find an active download and would like to experiment and join the discussion.
Thanks.
Thanks.
