Good day to all DIYers.
Nice build BOSS2009 !!!!!!! Just a suggestion to you if you want to keep the temperature done on heatsink you should turn the module on its side. Because heat rises . If you leave the module like that shown in the photo uploaded your transistors temp will stay high.
please note its only a suggestion !!!!!!!!!!!

What is the highest voltages you used on the H900tef from Dan C.

Increase rail voltage to 120v-60v-0-60v-120v, and you have 650w at 8 ohms, but 4 ohms will be minimum speaker impedance. With 110v-55v-0-55v-110v rail voltage you can run 3x8ohms (2,7ohms) speakers in parallel per channel.

sir,
I have 2 Identical transformer rated 40 0 40 1000va .How can manage psu for apex h900 by using this 2 transformer..??

Yes you can,

Corrected from post 246. Anyone doing class H should be able to figure it out, but...
Hi all
I introduce you another version of a switching Rail H class from 900W H class amplifier.................I found this diagram on a Russian forum, VEGALAB , I hope you enjoy !
This schematic does not use expensive , obsolete or rare components, and will not pose problems when designing PCB
OK obviously
But why u don't tried h900 three tiered for less heat and so less weighted heatsink
And the term of heatsink size matters course we never buy airplane for distance of 5kilometers
Hahahah
A 2-step class-H produces 30% less heat than same rating class-ab and a 3-step class-H produces 45% less heat.
It also helps in handling reactive loading of output stage, since the VCE across transistor reduces very much in Class-H, Hence less heat and much safer operation.
hi mr Apex please advice i wanted to make class h 3steps because of the above reasons wanted to use es1d , lm 311, irfz44 , (4pairs) c3856 , a1492 , mur860 , voltage to be used dc +135 , +90 , +45 0 -45 , -90 , -135 dc
please advice . i am even willing to use complimentary step up fets eg p channel irf5210 and n channel irf 3710 . like the below pictures
i hope to achieve to drive low impedance like 2ohms less heat and to use widely available parts like es1d , lm311 irfz44 /irf1010 , c3856 , a1492 , mur860
thanking you all in advance steve
