Yes, I did that before when using the normal receiverpi and worked perfectly.

It should be OK. But please just don't forget the GND.
Please find the attached StationPiPro schematic for more details. You can debug the issue by referencing to the schematic.

Good weekend.

Good weekend.
Never forgetting the ground I know. 🙂 Already checked all several times.
I will try again. Don't know why it is not working...

Strange thing is that at pin 9 and 10 there should be 3v3 but there isn't...

Good weekend as well.

Hi Ian

I think I may have over ordered

Using the Station PiPro. FifoQ7,Dual Mono DAC

This is how I was going to power up for the first time

Station Pro:- 5V Dirty Side 5V Clean Side

Fifo Q7 3.3V

Daul Mono Dac - 3.3V

Have I doubled up?

If I have doubled up what is the best way to power the Fifo Q7 3.3v Direct or 5V from the clean side of the Station PiPro?

Thanks

Eddie

Station Pro: 5V Dirty Side and 5V Clean Side
OK, but if you want you can also share to save a 5V, but up to your decision.

Fifo Q7 3.3V
Yes

Daul Mono Dac: Three 3.3V
Three 3.3V, or share

Hi Bschoeman,

Thanks for the pictures and the drawing.

1. You drawing looks correctly. Blowing fuse means there is a short circuit. It could be caused by a wrong connection. I've noticed that in your picture, you use a white wire for the UcPure 0V and use a brown/green wire for the +5V. Please make sure that is correct.
Another thing is that it seems that 15V AC could a bit higher, Can you use 12V AC for the UcPures?
Or, use a standard linear +-5V for now just for the function test. Move to UcPures when everything is confirmed.

2. The UcConditioner only leaves the pure mode when the input voltage is lower than 3.1V. Please fully charge your LifePO4 Mini batteries and trying it again.

Please let me know if you have an update.

Ian
Hello Ian,

I have tested a standard lineair +-5v on the IV stage and everything is working. Then I move back to the UcPure and changed the input supply to a new transformer with a dual 12V AC . First fully charged the UcPure and swithing on the UcPure. Everything is working again. But if the UcPure change from charging to conditioning mode the fuse of the -5v blows out when the IV stage is connected. If I change the -5 UcPure to +5V and vice versa, the other UcPure is blown out. (Still the -5v)

The fuse is also blown out of the -5v when I switch the whole system on at ones and the UcPure switch is also on and not fully charged. I will test what happens when there is no load on them of the IV stage but still connected to each other with the common GND.

2) When LifePO4 Mini's are fully charged the conditioners are working normal. In general it is working and I don't have problems with them, they only behave unexpected.

Please advice because the LittleFuses are not cheap ;-)

Greetings, Berry

Hello Ian,

Even without load the fuse of the powersupply which should deliver -5V is blown out if it is connected with the other UcPure for the common GND and switch to pure mode.

Hello Ian,

Even without load the fuse of the powersupply which should deliver -5V is blown out if it is connected with the other UcPure for the common GND and switch to pure mode.
I think I have solved the problem. Because I received one the UcPures with a broken physical switch, I have used the cable to switch on the UcPure with broken switch with the first UcPure. But I have connected both outputs together. (see picture) I have changed it and now it seems to function normal!! At powering the whole system on and the UcPures are switching to pure mode, the fuse do not blow out. I am very happy for now, now it is time for some serious listening.

Hi Ian,

Today happy listening to the pro setup.

I also checked everything why i cannot change the Fifoq7 settings with the monitorpi. Checked S1 at the bottom of the Q7. It is still default off as it should be.

What else could it be? i ran out of options to check😊

Many regards,
Ad.

A bit difficult to take a picture but frequencies are visible.
I only can choose dimm options. Run through the manual several times.
On top of the q7 a reclockpi

Hi Ian,
I have a first generation TransportPi running on top of a FiFoPi Q3 module. Can you tell me if it makes sense to change it to a TransportPi mkII? I see that instead of the Asahi Kasei AK4104ET a Wolfson WM8805 chip is used now. What can you say about the differences in the sound of the new board?
