So output(master) of USB to input(master) of sharc. If what vendor say is true it won't work. You need slave output on USB to connect to sharc board.

Now I also noticed that you have pin description on your board? Bclk mclk lrck data?

What revber posted is new revision of dsp board. DSP there is in I2S slave mode with ASRC. You seem to have older version like me, cause i see STM chip on your board.

Description of SA9227 board seems same as yours. Slave input, Master output. Sent screenshot of SA9227 datasheet previously, should be possible to run i2s output in slave mode.. try do research or make topic here on diyaudio regarding that.
