AX14

Hello to all 🙂

I have one question.
Can be somebody to be so kind and drop me a link for
latest version AX14 please or 100W Ultimate Fidelity Amplifier with PCB? I am happy with Toshiba or Sanken versions. All I want is just latest version which I can build.
I got totally lost here
😕

The AX14 board designed by prasi on post 11462 is current and plays excellent; 100W Ultimate Fidelity Amplifier. I have built it from manufactured boards using the link to pcbway. The other files are there also, for home etching.

If you are referring to the AX14 schematic, it can use many different output transistors. I actually had 2SC5200 and 2SA1943, scavenged from an old amp. Any of onsemi MJL1302 , MJL3281 MJL4281 and their complementaries are good choices and have better SOA.

Prasi posted while I was slowly typing....

Than for the suggestions guys. I have a huge transformer and rectifier board that came out of a Marantz PM80 which I would like to use for my next build. And the 50-0-50vdc Im getting from that is just perfect for the AX14. I guess Im going to have to wait till lockdown is finished to get my parts.

For those that have heard the AX14 and the FH9, in your opinion, which one sounds more musical? For music purposes that is. Im going to build either one, was just hoping for a bit of a guide to choose. If parts be a concern, the FH9 would be a better option for me as it doesnt use the 2SC5200 and the 2SA1943's which I have a problem getting
