Wow, Mark! Your rack looks much more neat than my own! All of my equipment is on a rack in another room so the only thing to see in the family room is my OLED tv and a set of FHXL speakers. My rack is a DIY "flexy" style made with sheets of painted MDF and rather industrial looking 5/8" threaded rod that provides a home to seventeen components that drive the family room AV system.
I checked out your website! All I can say is wow.
The VTI racks are pretty cost-effective, but when I added an extra shelf to mine it became a bit wobbly, especially with the heavy TT sitting on top. Nothing dangerous, but with a suspended floor small motions at the bottom make big motions at the top.

Yep, after 20 years, the university that I work for decided to no longer host faculty web pages. I need to port all of my projects to another location which will take me some time to get things back in order.

Cooking an M2X
Hello diyaudio - members,
I`ve got a nice recipe for cooking a new amp - the M2X.
The south german hobby cook sends you some pics out
of his private `MUPPETS SHOW`.
Smorebroed rom pom pom pom....
At first we use some fresh aluminum from the market and
build a little frame.
We need some volts and amps in our meal so let´s add two
SEDLBAUER-Trafos, nice PSU-boards from the diyaudio-
shop stuffed with some fresh fruits from Mouser, Conrad,
Voelkner and some other well known `fruit-dealers`.

Hello MEPER,
I had no problems with the JAMICON caps till now. I used them in many
of my amps.
I also used Vishay/BC, Panasonics, Nichicon Chemicons, EPCOS and so on
in different PSUs. I can´t say anything bad about the JAMICONs.
For me its always the ratio between high capacitance, low esr, expected lifetime
(o.k. - promises from datasheets) and the costs.

It is an unwise choice to omit Ccomp1 from your Norwood boards. Read paragraph 3 of the AD744 datasheet, and remember that Norwood is a noninverting amplifier with a gain of one; and if that's not bad enough, Norwood has some EXTRA phase shift introduced by the video buffer, that a plain ordinary AD744 standalone circuit does not.

thanks for the hint with Ccomp1 on the Norwood board! 😉
I thought I read, that it should only be soldered in if a tube preamp is used.
But I read so much the last few weeks.
I will solder it in.
