ecc99 - 6C19n PP, (6S19P)

contacted AEE

and connections, ofcourse per logic sense
obviously calculated that way

btw
they are 1.6k/6ohm, double C-core

next, interstage
and maybe supply chokes
if I can find some cheaper ones
but are chokes absolutely needed ?

hey guys
nice to see you here

funny you say that
it's not ready yet
but what the heck, here it is
or some of it
output 6C19n will have 'ordinary' blumlein cathode bias
IT is still there
but not driving output
only doing phase splitting
and what else it might do

Sounds like 6c33c territory.

yeah
but 6C19n is also OTL territory 😉

but sure, I have been a bit fast ordering
and there's no way back now 🙂

btw, the nice C3g I bought for this project might be used to drive KT120 instead :clown:

whatever, instead of trying alternative connection for the LL1660 IT, I'm now using it stricktly as per Lundahl's suggestion
gives me more 'peace of mind'

hmm, I wonder about what that IT is doing to the ecc99 cathode
it is kind of directly connected to ground, through winding, with resistance
that should be ok so far, I guess

but with the cross referenced connection it is also 'inductively induced' with some kind of reversed phase signal

any ideas what that will do ?
will it also affect the grid winding through induction ?

just to make sure, interstage is wound like this

ahh, had a look at QUAD II schematic
the CFB configuration
its not cross referenced
but instead use reversed connection of trafo
meaning opposite phase of plate load winding

I guess this means that if cross referenced, winding should not have reversed phase
it will have opposite phase due to the cross reference

well, I guess its best to have same polarity on the windings that are on top of each other
meaning, cross reference is the best way, yes ?
