I was thinking that must be the case re: thd. Of course that leads to next question - even higher rails and slightly lower Iq worth exploring?

For a bit of fun, I swapped out my monolithic diode bridges for a couple of LT4320 bridges I made a while back. Point being, I wanted to get a bit more voltage out of the PSU. Went from 27V to 28.5V, so a bit more. I lowered the Iq to 1A7 to compensate for total dissipation. Ended up with a slight THD reduction (.12%, now .11%). While making the RTA's, I experimented with Iq to see how it impacted THD in real time. Interestingly, the span from 1A5 to 2A Iq gave the exact same THD results. Then I remembered the autoformers – its it fair to say they dominant the THD values here, ZM?

buffer + autoformers are adding some (iron usually blamed for 3rd, not even ones) , but be absolutely sure that OS is greatest THD generator there
why you're asking?
SissySIT is perfect result of all projected goals, main of them being DEFiSIT for Masses (read - UberGreedy Boyz)
if you want something with lesser THD, build another amp

HI ,I see more 60Hz 27 vs 28.5v , is LT4320 better relate gremlins by diode? tnxFor a bit of fun, I swapped out my monolithic diode bridges for a couple of LT4320 bridges I made a while back. Have had Sissy42 in my system for a few days now. Just keeps sounding better!
