All these fine input boards could be used as generel purpose input buffers. Eg. Ishikawa is more or less a "mono" B1-buffer? .....so a dual-mono construction can be built.
If electrical and mechanical interface is made then these boards can be used same way as B1-buffer is used and boards can be swapped to evaluate sound with other power amps?

J1 in Mountain View? J112 is a JFET, and it is the correct part.
What schematic are you using? I'm not sure what you're asking re: the BC550.
Edited to add - I should have zoomed in on the picture. DOH! I see they shipped BC550 in the bag. Nice catch!!!!!

Will not work. Ask Mouser Team peoples is an error, they need shipp you J112 🙂 Good luck
Thank you! I already fired an email to Mouser.

Great catch! You've proven once again why it's so important to positively identify every part and test it before stuffing it in a board.
It seems a bit expensive pr. J112 device to buy only two?
I would get maybe 100 or where there is a good price drop pr. device. Also these JFETs needs a match in many cases so good to have some to select from.
This is probably the problem if just sending the pre-fabricated "Mouser BOM"?

I’ll be interested in their reply. When I built my Pearl 2 in the spring, Mouser twice sent me the same two similar parts in the wrong bags. So two different pulls, same error. I never heard back from them after emailing support.
There seems a consensus that the M2x is an ideal pairing for my new B1Korg. But the store is out of M2x PCBs. I’m considering ordering the F6 package, building it in a 4U-300 chassis with the usual PSU board, and then swapping in the M2x boards when they become available. Is that a reasonable plan? Winter is coming. I need a project.
Maybe you might also consider the non-diyAudio-Store M2 clone PCBs, offered by member tea-bag. They don't have interchangeable input stage daughter cards, and they do require Toshiba JFETs.
GB Pass M2 Clone Boards with 120mm UMS spacing by Tea-Bag
But, importantly, they DO deliver that First Watt M2 sound.

Or the matched quad LSK170/LSJ74 jfet available from diyaudio store.... they do require Toshiba JFETs...
While waiting for M2x boards to be back i n stock,I thought of ordering the IPS6 and IPS7 boards at the pcb maker.
Then I thought maybe someone else is interested in them 2.
So If youre intessted in them please write so and I´ll order boards for you to.
We will figure out later the price off the package and stamps.

I got two emails from Mouser, promptly. Since the part is not available anymore, I was given an option for refund for credit or treat it as backordered item with availability in February 2021. I only ordered a pair and combined, cost less than a dollar. I choose credit, then ordered from a competitor instead.
No. The cards have to be buffers because there is no attachment to ground.
That said, I suspect that a new board, with Norwood configured just a little differently and the F6 output stage together would be an incredible amp. The Nor6. 🙂 🙂 🙂
(I happen to really like Norwood, so the idea is quite interesting.)

Norwood... after all the swapping and trials, I dropped the Woods in the monos and installed them in the music room. It was a very close fight, but overall, they seemed to be the best for whatever I threw at it, not the best for all, but the best overall. 😎

Swapped the Norwood boards. Wind instrument sounds so real with the Norwood in my system!
Now I understand why there are 4 hex metal screws (black, M3) that will remain in the plastic bag from the diyaudio chassis kit after building and listening to the M2X.
