Dear Mr. Mile,
- Is Sr200 required to wear a special regulator (adjustment regulator) as post # earlier.
- For the B500 I just use a simple diode bridge power supply with 4 pairs of Elco, transformer 47.5Vac or + / - 67Vdc supply.
- Can be used the above power supply for kit SR200? because it is too complicated for me to make a special relgulator. sorry my bad english
Best regards,
Yassud

Simple unregulated PSU can be use for SR200.

Thank you for quick response and I am sure this is a great power and eager to immediately create a PCB with a layout that is available in this thread.

100 volt caps?
This circuit has 63 volt caps. I think 100 Volt is needed (like you changed in the original) ?Use this PSU circuit to suply 4 SR50

PSU for SR50: +/-45V DC rail voltage.

You are right, of course. I'm currently building an SR200 PSU and reacted on impulse just before thinkingPSU for SR50: +/-45V DC rail voltage.

Hello Mile,
I am thinking of replacing LF411 on SR200 with OPA627. What difference will it make to the Sound of SR200.

No sound difference, LF411 is only for DC servo circuit.
Apex I need your help, the BF421 is geting hot on idle on my RS50 what can be the problem?
Nice work, BF421 must be hot, but you can replace BF421 with resistor like in SR200.

Q7 on SR50 is BF420 not BF421.
The problem is that q10 BF421 is geting hot not q7
Ok, all BF420/421 must be hot 12mA x U rail is about 600mW per BF. Replace R16 and R17, use 2k2 instead 3k3 for 6mA thru BFs or 2k7 for 8mA and temperature of BFs will decrease.
What is PSU rail voltage for your SR50?
Rail voltage is +-40 vdc 6amps and BF421 is hot even if nothing is conected to amp
It's OK VAS work in class A, all BFs must be hot without input signal and output load, and you can measure voltages on 100R resistor (about 1,2V for 12mA) and measure offset on amp out (about 1mV) if not something is wrong.
