Hi LKA, VOM1271T is out of stock in Mouser.
Any alternative?🙂
Somebody keeps buying them up
They were sold out before, then had stock, then sold out again
I have a cart waiting with some in it that has gone back and forth a few times lol

Thanks dear but shipping time is 20-34 days and NO PAYPAL!😡
I have this tested for d.c presence using a led in optocoupler position.
Is it any problem if we increase R2 to something 330k for longer on delay time?

Go out of stock at the same rate as the VOM1271
Funny cause those two things are what im looking at too

I designed mine without the photo cell.
I just used a dual transformer with one secondary driving control electronics and other providing power for mosfets.
I got away with a very small transformer.

Hi, yes, you can increase R2.
VOM1271 is temporarily out of stock in most distributors. Try rs-online.com, cc 1000 in stock.

Thanks LKA!
I hope that the IPI051N15N5AKSA1 mosfets will be suitable.
of course yes
Each of my two amp channels have their own independent power supply.
l am also using one auxiliary 12 Volt power supply to power the two SSR protection boards.
Do I omit R18 from both SSR boards?
no, you have to populate them (1k)
Last question.
I want to use 4 Mosfets (IRF100B201) instead of two to lower the Rds for a particular amp. Do you see any issues?

IMHO no reason to go below 5mR/fet. I measured my SSR with total Rdson of 10mR+10mR, no "visible distortion".
My dual-mono amp. SSRs are powered from common single supply +24V. The SSR pcb omites overcurrent protection circuit (mosfet amp pcb : flying catch diodes, fuses) and AC detector. The latter function is also implemented on my AC Power Controller, so the +24V is delayed.

Very neat layout LKA, I notice the small caps between earth and chassis on the inputs. I remember Bonzai advocated it as well. I will try it for sure. No earth loop breakers or special stuff like that to prevent hum and buzz for preventative measures? When I build now then I automatically install an earth loop breaker with a small switch to disconnect it when necessary. Superbbb job !🙂
Each power supply GND have LBR (loop breaker circuit) to the chassis.
Groundig scheme:
MAINS_PE -> CHASSIS
LEFT_RCA_COLD -> 10nF -> CHASSIS <- 10nF <- RIGHT_RCA_COLD
LEFT_PSU_GND -> LEFT_LBR -> CHASSIS <- RIGHT_LBR <- RIGHT_PSU_GND
LEFT_AMP_OUT_GND -> 1kOhm -> Ka1_PSU_GND <- 1kOhm <- RIGHT_AMP_OUT_GND
1kOhm = R18 on SSR pcb
LBR = 10R,100nF,antiparallel_diodes (parallel connection)
Ka1_PSU_GND = floating
