Terry, were is this one pair PCB pdf?Jason's board is 7.6cm x 10cm and Borys' board is 7cm x 12cm. Jason's was 3"x4" but I asked him to trim it down to 10cm to meet the limit for the prototype discount.
Hi Carl,
You can find it in post #181 in the group buy thread.

Terry, were is this one pair PCB pdf?
Hi thimios,
I believe it is in the big thread. I'm not sure if Jason ever released the newest version in pdf. The one I etched has the outputs wide just like the normal Slewmaster. When I get to my computer I can post the foil for it. If you prefer I can send you the gerbers for this one or even the sprint file. This one can be easily be done single sided. The only important trace on top is a ground tying the two grounds together which can just be a wire.
Thanks Terry ,waiting for this!Hi thimios,

Terry or Jason,
So if I wanted to have some of these single pair boards made by one of these low cost board house what exactly do you give them? Is this the Gerber that they need or is there something else?

You need Gerbers and a drill file.
Terry has a copy of the slightly modified 'cheapskate' gerber / excellon files. I'm away from my home PC and can't do anything right now. I never posed that set of files, they were done at Terry's request.
I am attaching jpegs for the foil and silk mirror. I don't know how to produce pdf from sprint. If someone can tell me the process I can provide that.
If you use Foxit Reader instead of Acrobat you just right click on the Jpeg and select Convert to PDF.
Set sprint up to print, then select Foxit PDF for a printer.

Anyone home etching those need to remember to add the ground wire since the manufactured boards had the ground as a trace on the top side.

Or ground the input board directly to the star ground.

You may have better results selecting a higher resolution Jpeg. These look like they are around 100dpi. 400 or 600 would be much clearer.
Thanks Jeff and especially Jason for this great layout. I am attaching two pdf. one for the foil and one for the silk mirror for iron transfer.
As Jason said your will need to add a ground wire from G2 to the center terminal.
Edit; I forgot that Thimios uses photo-etch. I am also attaching a mirror foil for that.

Now that isn't the same as the Gerber am I correct? And the drill pattern is not what I am seeing on what you are calling the silk am I? Is there an actual file with just the location of the drill holes or some kind of cad file that gives the board house the drill pattern or how does that part work? Trying to figure out how to do this without having to make boards myself. I know the process and did photography work also when I was so much younger. I don't have the right type of printer or anything so the cost to go down that route doesn't make sense.
Thanks Terry,
I saw your PM but didn't answer you yet. What you just put up will also contain the drill information then?
Now, blessing to you and Thank You,
Steven

Hi Steven,
Yes, all the files the board house needs are in there. I believe the sprint file is there too but that shouldn't bother them. This is the "cheapskate" layout so it qualifies for the "proto-type" price with most of the board houses.
For those who don't wish to bother with that, I do have some extra boards. PM me if interested.
Blessings, Terry

There's a .drl file included for drilling. If you open it up in Notepad you can see XY locations and drill diameters. Some day they'll need to update to circle radius' and do away with the drill bits.

What do you mean by the term "cheapskate" in this regards? is that the size of the board or is it single sided or what?
