Very nice and that looks like the case I always want.

No finished and we intend to change few things, but here it is before anodizing and dyeing.
Enclosure is massive 8Kg without electronics, spikes etc.

Please do not overdo it as brilliant surface just makes it more expensive but not better...

Which CAD are you using ?
So far we made our projects in FreeCAD and Inkscape and we are looking for something feature rich and easier to use.

When do you think the Quantum transport will be available?

We are working on the third prototype.
Enclosure has been shown to be a tough challenge. The good news is that we have added few more improvements. Quantum is ready to become an unique CD transport, in terms of performance and design.
In January we'll have some pictures to show and some measurements as well. ;-)

The Metronome ASRC Module

Hi,

You can go s/pdif directly to Soekris Dac.
Metronome ASRC will do what his name says. Will take I2S data, asynchronous resample and put out again I2S. In some cases may "help" to sound different, but here you have Shiga and Soekris. Trust me, you don't want an ASRC between them.
