Hi,
I made a small mistake in the previous pic. this is DPS-400-S1.
above is the same, except the PBTU-2 for + / -12 regulated low noise, for some amp models. we call DPS-400-S1/B compatible for ICEPower amps.
------------
We wait a special high voltage caps for version "S2", I think 2-3 days and I can put the photo.

Hello all,
Rceived something from Italy 2 weeks ago (and since then I have been too lazy to post photos 🙂 ) :
Thank you Roberto for the nice package !
What would you think of this kind of setting ? On the photo the back panel would be on the left :
My case wille probably be : 80x230x280

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

Hi,
Thanks for shared your products.
You can follow this simple diagram, also well tested.
Remember the 2 small 10uF63V on Attenuator pcb.
Package complete? 🙂
P.S. this thread includes the photos of your version assembled on frame also.
Regards

Thank you for your answer Roberto.
Is your diagram for unbalanced version ? I will build unbalanced.
Also I thought of not using the attenuator board, is it not ok ?
The package seems complete as far as I can tell, I haven't gone through it all though.

This arrangement of the modules is independent of the type of input (unbal / bal) you want to use. (Dictated only by a better the hf noise reaction of 2 toroids)
I recommend the wiring diagram that I have already posted in this thread, Also for Unbal connection. no problem if you do not want to use att. board.
You can connect a shielded cable, 10Pin directly on the SDA, to the RCA input, just remember the jmp from (-IN) to AGND, just to SDA.
Ok thank you I'm close to ordering the case.
Could you tell me the screws size ? I think I need M4 washers to isolate screws from the earth is that right ?

You need simply plastic spacers with thread 3MA, see RS Components or mouser, etc. .., you can chose 7mm or 10mm height, if your case is> 40mm (1U). As this example. http://www.skiffy.com/en/spacers.html
Just my curiosity..why the pics as Icon size eheh!

I've just sent you a PM.
Concerning the photos I have no idea, wasn't my intention to downsize them this much. I'll try something else this evening 🙂

If you choose the plastic screws also, you not need the "ecrou plastic", can use the normal metal.
I think is better that tomorrow show the wires diagram for your setup... 🙂

Hello,
got something today 🙂 :
Do you have any comment on the setup ?
I can't put the DPS side by side, they don't fit for a few millimeters...
I've isolated all but 1 screw on DPS, does the screws on SDA and PBTU need to be isolated from earth too ?
Also can I use fan 12v on the DPS to power the led on my switch ?
Thank you

Hi ..nice! very compact eheh.
The pbtu-3 are isolated.
route the sda please. emi filter side, not good near the input of sda.
or add the aluminum bar between smps and sda, 2mm thick enough.
for led yes, but at this point, use the remote controls. it includes the led function. (need main switch add)
I see the setup on dps-400 for 2x350w 🙂
P.S. what are dimensions at internal of case?

Drizzt do you have some hole on the top of your case? It's really small in here and I noticed my smps were a bit hot compared to the SDA-400.
You mean this way ?
My switch includes a LED, I send you the link via PM.
I was thinking to connect EIC to the switch and the switch to the DPS, is is wrong ?
At this point I don't really see how to use the remote control.. 😱
