For the input im using a balanced wire.
blue +IN / white -IN / shield AGND on SDA-400 side
and on the DAC side I connect white cable and shield together. I'm using this setup because I don't have small jumpers avalaible. Since I'll have to buy some resistors I'll buy some jumpers in the same time 😉
Roberto now that we know the resistors has burn what do you think could have caused this?

Smoke the res,obvious amp turn in big Unbalanced condition. in your case I'm sure a auto-oscillation. (or you have smoked power mosfet) but in this case, the dps-400 stop,and is not able to re-start (in presence of short-cut I mean). also,you can measure simple with tester, from Power DC pin to gnd in SDA, if have short-cut just before you switch-on. (in presence of short-cut,or current >500mA,the dps-400 LED, blink continuos,smps not start ).
Input need very short connection to AGND under SDA or via JMP.
🙂 ... with your connection, you have create a perfect "Link" to capture signals.
I have protected very well this amps...hope 🙂, also, The output stage (toroidal incluse) it's made for big current output or 500-600w quiet.
Maybe,other diy with other types of amps and smps , in the same circumstances , would have destroyed smps and amp ...and speaker. I mean,the protections are very important.

At end, is not bad that customers see "how is made" the compact Dps-400.
I want to explain in a few steps, some design strategies that will certainly have raised the cost slightly, but they allowed me to obtain a very low irradiation RFI / EMI and Ultra Low conduction of harmonics, via DC output (essential for audio).
We start just with small module Osc./Driver...next step.

Hi Vis,
You will not be dissapointed at all! I have 2x kit 3 which is SDA-400 and DPS-400 together and all I can say for now is wow! First time I hear a Class D amplifier that is not aggressive in the upper range and not over exaggerated in the mids. Sounds really fluid with a very good soundstage. I will advise however to not use the included potentiometers, connect directly and use a good preamplifier makes a good improvement on sound to my own liking.
Right now, my friend is evaluating the amp in his own setup and really liking it. I plan to bi-amp a pair of 3 ways with these modules.

This can be given by the potentiometer which is also inserted on the (-IN), but does not worsen dramatically.
I agree for direct connection input for sure.

I bought it to maxidcx it's this one :
I mesured with my multimeter between ground and left (+) or ground and right (+). I took these measures because when I link my smartphone to the sda, my phone crashes.

It is folly 🙂 to measure the input with simple tester, considering it's a D Class. (I mean, testers capture the hf also), that the fortune sda, HF has a filter at the input stage.
let me see how it is currently connected (cables),so I can help you, I'm sure that the problem of the smartphone is the capture of hf signals.
I'm not able to figure others reason.
