Hi everybody.
I make a case F5 by aluminum (370x400x165mm). Is aluminum 3mm enough?
If there is case which is 3mm aluminum, can I see its photo?

Thanks Nelson and Wayne!!!
Bloody tidy effort there.
Some nice engineering too.
Are you a professional PCB designer? Where do you produce small number of PCB cost efficient?
One source in Europe :
Eurocircuits - ?PCB proto? ? the PCB prototype service from Eurocircuits

A disclaimer.
I have not used them before myself.
But a friend in Europe did, multiple times, and I have seen the results myself.
Quite OK.

My F4 finally has a chassis
Although they have been "completed" and operational for a few years now, my F4 boards have finally found their way into a more portable chassis. I built it with a detachable power umbilical so I can trade the outboard PSU back and forth with different amps - DC only inside this chassis. The sinks came from the DIY Audio store a few years ago, the top is maple with a pretty neat veining pattern, and the front panel is cocobolo.

Very nice. Do you find it difficult grounding the different metal parts if the chassis?

Vince: It's easier than it looks. There is an aluminum L-bracket that runs across the bottom of the sinks on each side. These are tied together and to ground under the perfboard that holds the caps. It is not directly visible in these images.
Some cooling holes in the top and bottom plate should help lowering temps inside the case, maybe the caps inside will thank you for this
Btw very nice build there !
