testing last monday evening after installing new 40vac 1KVA transformers and having decided to revert to V1 ex MUR3020
overshooting voltage was a major problem with 50vac secondaries and I´ve definitely been in the fire extinguisher league for several months! he-he
on their way up to target 350mV
protection pcb´in front ready to install

leifchristensen, Very interesting design and wow, what a set of speakers you've compiled!
I have gone vertical with my attempts at a F5t v2. I had great results. These only get to 85F after an hour at 345mV across the source resistors. They are made from scrap I got at the recycler's. Obviously those are CPU coolers on the side, mounted to 12mm plate which itself is riddled with random holes. Hey, they work! The amp sounds great!
Thanks to all those who help! No one does this kind of thing alone ;-)

cool design as well
the thought of a cpu solution has crossed my mind as well
a waterfilled rod to clamp down the outputdevices might be "cool"😀
might get condensation to solve though....
