By looks of his voltage and current it was more than a mini anyway... it's still limited by transformer VA (yet to be advised) and heatsinks, though.
What is a Mini anymore?.. GRollins laid it out X years ago, ZMod's got his 24V bablefish.. basically a single pair however you wish to configure them. That chassis is maxed out at 60W already.. If you're going to do multiples you might as well come at it thinking to do multiples, if that makes any sense. (and vice versa)

Maybe you bought them from Mouser? Mouser has them for only $11.70 each, not $36.20 DigiKey is charging.
