Neurochrome HP-2 ultra-low distortion headphone amplifier

Been listening to my favorite tracks and it just makes my phonitor sound muddy.

Its a whole new level of detail. Tracks almost sound different or new. I'm rediscovering new details.

Really impressive.

I've paired it CanOpener to simulate crossfeed. Im also using Equilibrium and the oratory1990 profile for my lcd2s.

Haven't herd anything better than this in cans before. Reminds me of when I had my dynaudio bm15a.

I have an HP-2, fully assembled and tested by yours truly, sitting with a friend in the US. It has never been used. I'm willing to sell it for the cost of parts. $550 will get the amp delivered to your doorstep by UPS, assuming a US destination. Shipping elsewhere will be a bit more.

Contact me by email, for example through the Contact Us form, if you're interested in buying this amp.

Nope. I do provide a block diagram on my website: HP-22 – Neurochrome

I realize that not providing schematics ruffles the feathers for some, but I've had issues with copies of my circuits showing up on forums overseas. I don't see any reason to make it easier for the copycats.

I do provide design documentation with the board that explains how the circuit works and how to assemble and use it.

QQ -- it seems C44 1000uF/35V Panasonic EEU-FS1V102L is currently backordered.

I went ahead and substituted it with 50VDC 1000uF EEU-FR1H102B 16x25mm (also Low ESR). Assuming it fits (the leads are slightly wider @ 7.5mm), this should be no problem, right?
