Still no news from DIY_Calderon and MRSavage so price is fixed at 32€/kit and I'm starting to send PayPal invoices.

If they chime in again price will be reduced to 28€/kit so all other partecipants will receive a 4€ remboursement on the amount paid.

It's also possible that the SMD Option will be a bit cheaper (1-3€ less, I'll keep you informed) since some SMD resistors are possibly being replaced by through hole parts, also in this case a remboursement will be made on the 45€ initially paid.

The GB is still open until April 3 but new kits (unless a consistent number is reached) will not reduce further prices.

All payments are due by April, 3.

30 euros for this kit its a good deal , the shipping to us is not.

Italian postal service is indeed pretty expensive, in the last two years prices incresead a lot.

But the real problem are the international shipping rates, USPS is not different, A First-Class Package International Service packet shipped to Europe costs $13.75 vs €13,75 of a Poste Italiane Raccomandata Internazionale (International Registered Mail - Signed for).

The actual shipping fee of 16€ is calculated this way:

13.75€ registered mail cost
1€ packaging cost (padded envelope, protective film and my time)

5% to cover PayPal fees.

The sum is then rounded to the next integer.

I can't see how it can be lower...

Not much you can do about it....Italian postal service. They are terrible..(stuff gets lost) and expensive.

No one in Italy loves the postal service but after all is not that terrible.

Sometimes ordinary post can be lost in transit (not so often, though) while premium services, like the Raccomandata (Registered Mail -Signed for) are reliable.

All FE's kits (over 185 packets) have been shipped via Raccomandata and not a single one has ever been lost.

I'm sorry , but I cant figure out how much will b the kits with the smd parts included. I know I had seen it somewhere .
Thanks

28€ for a 2 PCB Kit
16€ for shipping (up to two kits)
45€ for SMD parts, soldered (for each kit aka 2 PCBs)
Total 89€

Final price for the SMD option is going to be lowered to 40€ since I've quite decided to replace 3 SMD resistors with through hole counterparts.

mrsavage just paid, only terenceng is still missing.

I'll wait until tomorrow and then I'll order boards, price will remain as fixed (28€/kit).

Still working on final adjustements to the BOM, so the final remboursements will be released by the end of this week/beginning of the next.
