Yes you can use ferrite core with 1mm air gap and use inductor meter for inductance measurement
use PC817 for isolate micro from your DC detector
optocupler can save you micro
be cerful my friend
do you work with micro before ?
Hi Hadi:
Thanks for your advice. I'm using voltage divider and zener, hope they are enough to keep the input level within the micocontroller's acceptable level.
I am trying to start again with Micro, had few work experience 10years ago with MP LAB. 😉
Thanks
Raj
Hi Guys!
have anybody latest schematic and PCB with description? How about supply voltage? from my estimation +/-95VDC should give us about 850-900Watts @4R, but Manoj said that it should be more. what changes should be made to drive it at this voltage level? It is OK to build it in full bridge version and drive 4R load? or it should be made in 2 pcs and then bridged? Which part values vary depending on supply?

Hi,
for +/-95V supply AUD600 will give you 1130W@4R True RMS OUTPUT and FTC RMS rating is 2250W@4R,you should connect 2800W/3000W@4R RMS speaker otherwise your speaker coil will heat and its efficiency will be lost.

Hi Manoj:
For -/+95 supply which components should be changed? Can I use irfp250n?
Thanks
Raj

i know that, i'm not going to connect one speaker to it. Two 2x15" or 2x18" will take this power easily. I'd like also to know which components should be changed to work safely @ +/- 95VDC. Thanks in advance

Hi Raj,
IRFP250N will work @4R load only. Not support short circuit, 2R load and Bridge
use 250V 80A Mosfet for safe @+/-95V supply range

Manoj, how about FDA59n25 or 60 A transistors? 80 A is a must? there is IRFP4768 but seems to be very expensive(about 5 times according to 59n25), maybe we shoul search something like 80n25 series?
i can have:
IXFH100N25P 5,47 EUR/1 pcs exl. VAT, min. 30 pcs in 2-3 weeks
IXTH76N25T 2,68 EUR/1 pcs exl. VAT, min. 30 pcs in 2-3 weeks
but this is not cost-effective i think, maybe its easier to use two pairs?
FDA59n25 cost is about 1,25 EUR including VAT. and they are widely avaible from 1 PC. what do you think about it?
i Have another question.
Power board is unconventional, and somebody would like to use SMPS for this amp, what would be difference between this powerboard in that option?

Hi Adamkaktus,
use IXFH100N25P or 2x FDA59N25
there is no issues using SMPS or Linear Power supply

hi sir manoj. what about the amp schema?
and what can i do to eliminate rf noise at high frequencies when it is playing loud . but issue occurs when using two channels . maybe it is because i never used 220uh inductor at aux 12volts for powering ir2110 ic.

Hi stewin,
did you ground the heat-sink(IRF250N Mosfet) with 1R or 10R resistor??
and Power GND should be in one point or good shielded GND
AUD600 ver3.0.1, after testing i will postwhat about the amp schema?

Hi Manoj, i've bought few fda59n25 for test, but i will wait for new version. Can i replace 5551 and 5401 with mpsa 42/92?
best class d ever made ... 🙂
thank u sir manoj for ur amp. very clear and good sound .. 22uh inductor @+/-63vdc .irfp250n no heat sink fets on 55degree .
can need any changes for +/-140 vdc .??? i n not useing 220uh for aux 12v.

Congrats, what type of core you are using? How many turns you gave?
It seems that you are not using 47R and 104 caps, any reason?
hello sir raj. chek post##142 in that pic sir manoj made some changes . I use old tv smps core (it is only for test ). I use swg 16 for 22uh 33 turns with 1.75 mm gap. thanku sir
Hi Aman,
Congrats, You are using AUD600 Rev1.0 and its fsw is @400KHz so you need 18uH,22uH or 33uH coil. 22uH is best for sound quality.
@Raj,
it is not 104(=100nF) caps use 100pF or 220pF/2Kv
