The deal is still on, but I'm afraid I can't run it anymore. I simply don't have the money to buy the chips, nor to build what I need them for.

Your price would be the same as for everyone else - about USD 3.50 +shipping and US sales tax pr. chip, plus shipping to you.

I'm hoping to get a few of these myself for testing
on the Zhalou D2.5 DAC.

If people don't mind paying in CDN dollars, I can
take a stab at doing the ordering and
distribution. Please be advised though the cost will
be a little higher because of higher taxes and
postal rates.

Cheers,
Dennis

Well, Dennis if your into taking over I guess I should be taling to you then. I am lareayd in Canada so we can go from there. I would like
4 chips all in 8pin dips. If you can relay they needed info I will get you the mony and we can go from there. Thx

yes, that is what i mean. will they be better than NE5532 which i think is junk?

Sure hope so, that's what I need mine for 🙂 But seriously, they should be great in any audio application, and "High fidelity active filters" is actually one of its recommended applications.

Hello,

I've worked out some numbers based on at least 100 units
for each of the SOIC and 8-DIP chips. I simply took
the digikey.ca price, added shipping and tax and obtained:

LM4562MA (SOIC) : $4.50 CAD
LM4562NA (8-DIP) : $4.67 CAD

Worldwide shipping should be around $8 CAD for a
reasonable amount (up to 250g). Add $1CAD per order
for packing materials. Paypal fees are extra.

The price of Digikey.ca is higher than that of Digikey in the US
(by about 5%) Clearly there's an arbitrage opportunity
here. 🙂 Seriously though, it seems the most economical way
would be for a US member to handle this GB. (I'm not
backing out, but rather just want to give you guys the
facts as I have them.)

Cheers,
Dennis

Just search for LM4562 on digikey.com, and you'll get a list of three hits - TO-99, 8-SOIC and 8-DIP. The first two are in stock, while the DIP is expected on wednesday.

Your Canadian prices don't seem too bad compared to the American. Adding $10 US for shipping and 7% tax (Nebraska, where I once lived), I come up with these prices:

LM4562MA (SOIC) : $3.64 US, CAD 4.27
LM4562NA (8-DIP) : $3.78 US, CAD 4.43

As far as I could find out, overseas shipping is pretty much the same from US and Canada.

This is the numbers we will use for ordering, regardless of who does the shopping.
