What effect would it have if the CTs were both blue or both green? Just curious. I'm not smart enough to figure it out, but it didn't stop me from trying. 🙂The secondaries wires are usually blue and green.
Either way, see the diagram in the spec sheet you attached and the yellow sticker on the side. Usually the blue wires are shown with the phase dots.
Secondary 1 Blue - AC1 | Secondary 1 Green CT | Secondary 2 Blue CT | Secondary 2 Green - AC2
Just "beep" them out...meaning with your meter set to continuity mode check all possible combinations of two wire pairs. Apparently your smart enough to follow instructions.
I have done the 'BAD' more than once. Yikes. What, another defective transformer? That's just not right. They get so hot and really low output. My misunderstanding was costly, and I even make really, really sure that I got it right these days. Dots go together whether we agree or not.
Completion kit landed…thanks to all involved in offering this.
It is a glimmer of hope in the otherwise miserable storm of chaos resulting from having to relocate to a new home and prepare the old one for sale these past months.
Hopefully it will make things easier to find some time to enjoy my hobby.

This device might be helpful as well. It's by @Mark Johnson (I'm sure of it) circa 2015. I searched for the corresponding thread but it must have dropped off the end off either Swap Meet or Group Buys. I've never populated it (I'm assuming it works though) because I have a scope. Found it in the " Board Hoarding" drawer.

I have a phase dot checker (Mark's board) on my bench at easy reach - comes in very handy when you work with lots of different transformers, particularly old ones with no/limited documentation. I've also found a couple that were marked incorrectly using this device.
Search term is PhaseDots

6L6's guide for the SE is published. The balanced is on the way.
The boards are 99% the same. Stuff away and ask questions if they arise.

Well. call me Einstein.
When I smoke electronics it's premeditated... in my first year of analog electronics we used to blow up three legged transistors.... put the gate in AC ground. then, put the other leg into the AC neutral and then, with insulated pliers, slide the other leg into the AC plug's hot.
They'd smoke, pop, you name it... while the prof kept droning on about some sine or cosine function...
I guess that set the path for my career.
I'm not a Dodo... I'm quite aware I have no real clue!

Published, where? Like I said and I’ll not be so hard on myself. Porch lights dim because I haven’t had whisky in 30 days6L6's guide for the SE is published. The balanced is on the way.

Quick Reminder - Pre-orders for the completion kits for the 2021 and 2023 through-hole boards are closing today. If you want one, this is your last chance to get one. For the quantities currently on order, they'll ship MUCH sooner than June... maybe early February if that affects anyone's decision.

Thanks to everyone involved in getting boards and parts into people’s hands. I’m really looking forward to hearing this thing.
I should probably just be more patient, and maybe contact the Store instead of whining here, but others have received their orders and I’ve had some issues with USPS at my new address so I’m concerned... Are there any tracking numbers to be had for the Completion Kits? According to the Store, all I know is that my order fulfillment is “partial”.
