What is difference in sound Le Monstre blue (probably original schematic) vs Le Monstre Red enhanced
"Le Monstre Red"? Do you have a reference?
I would take another line: the components are decisive in terms of sound. Small deviations in the resistance values, and therefore current values, are not decisive. I would take the opportunity and, based on the circuit diagram in #2.367, equip the transistors U3, U4, U5, U7 with identical complementary pairs. This way, the different sound characters of the complementary parts can be heard in both half-waves, which is a plus in terms of homogeneity.
I wouldn't use a TO-3P for U6, U8, as they don't produce a closed tone. A TO-220 is completely sufficient here. I even only use TO-126 types, some have even more contour and dynamics.

I would first assemble the two amplifiers, then start with a small power supply unit. Here too, the tonal qualities of the components are decisive, not the capacitance. Unfortunately, it will be necessary to buy and test many different types. You can start with 2 x 4.7 mF easy.
And: Most people don't succeed in connecting components in parallel on just ONE circuit;-) This is audible, whether one or many circuits;-)
And: NO channel separated psus, no "double mono"!
