All the leeway you imagine. And more.
Another question Nelson, if we want the circuit at unity gain, we would be using R1 & R2 as voltage dividers like for the previous version? What values for R1 & R2 do you recommend?
Thanks,
Pete
If you only need nominal unity gain, the ratio becomes about 10:1 of R1/R2.
If you want exactly, you would have to measure then gain and use a calculator.

Will R1 = 47K and R2 = 4.7K be OK? I'm not sure what the relationship of R1 & R2 are to R5 for unity gain.
Pardon me...
I'm Interested in unity gain, too, but not sure if I get this right:
according to the doc, R1/R2 is 1:47 and this is going to be 10:1, is that correct?
Thank you
David

Any guesstimate when the kits will be available in the store? I admit I'm lazy. I want to just order a kit. But I don't even see a way to buy a PCB even if I get motivated at this point.
My error. You want about 10 dB attenuation, which is about 3 to 1.
R1 at 22k and r2 at 10k is more like it.

Question about power supply
First off, a big hats off and thank you to Nelson for creating this and giving it (very literally) to us. Amazing.
To keep the good karma going I will make a donation to our food bank. Some family will be eating a little better thanks to your generosity.
I have a question about the power supply. The notes say that the power supply does not need to be "very accurate or quiet."
Is there an ideal range of voltage?
Thanks!

I would aim for the average between these two extreme values.I would say 11.9 to 12.1v
Your wisdom has concluded that 12v is a universal power source 😀
I think I'm gonna order the extra parts required for unity gain too, and experiment with mine!

Hahahahahahahaha😉
Can someone point out the IDSS measurement for this specific version to pick the right J113 jfet and the resistors too? I know it is in the kit form that has been graciously shared by Papa but if I want to measure and pick myself I would like to do that as well.
Its such a simple circuit I can do point to point wiring 🙂
Thanks
