Hi bbp,

Do you still have available kits? Can you email me the manual?

Tanks,

Fred

Hi elsmorian, May I have your email?
Hi Cobra2 and wboyd, good luck and have a nice time in DIY ^_^
Hi fredlock, this kit is still available, may I have your email too?

Kits available, about 8 kits left :smash:

Thank you all 🙂

Hi, Lu

Ive sent payment for 1 kit. Couldn't bother you for the dimensions of the boards and LCD so that I can get started on the chassis 😉

Thanks!

Testing testing ...

Hrmm .... If one uses the right battery in the remote it works more consistently :innocent: There should be a 3V CR2032, not the thinner CR2016.

I have tested a bit now and this controller works very well 😀. You have done a good job Lu :worship:
The quirks someone reported about not pushing the buttons to fast between the tasks I havent seen anything of. It works very fast indeed.
One malfunction (or bug) I have found though.
If I use CH- button it shows me total number of songs and total time. The only way to come back from that, as far as I have tested, is to press the play/pause button, then it starts all over from song 1 again :scratch1: .

How well does it work with different players?

The units I have tested is:
A noname CD rom 24X model nr.624A 365. Year 1998
Works very well. No problem.

Compac DVD rom model nr. GD-8000 Type CTO F/W 0008 Year 2001
Works OK but your not aloud to pause! Then the display hangs. It also starts playing immediately the CD is there. (The CD players tested just show total time/song and you have to press the play button before it plays.)

Compaq CD rom Model nr. CRD-8402B(CP6) F/W1.01 Year 2000
Works very well. No problem.

Compaq CD rom Model nr.LTN-486S-CA2 F/W YQS8 Year 2002
Works very well. No problem.

Anyone else done any testing yet?
