Through-hole version GB will be offered by woodturner-fran once he is totally happy with his beta build.

Yes.
If necessary we can also offer XEN matched Toshiba JFETs.
But they are matched to a much higher spec than DIYA store, and hence more expensive.
The other thru hole devices you need to match yourself, maybe organise and form your own groups according to continents.
Not so difficult as SMD, so have to DIY.
😉

From the first post: "This GB is limited to 20 pairs and will come as a KIT with all matched transistors, capacitors and resistors needed for assembly."This GB will be for bare boards only and parts sourced by the builder, correct?
Thanks Patrick.
It doesn't actually say it includes boards, but I'm assuming it does.
Now that the payments are in I will start ordering and update you when stuff arrives so I can start matching everything together...
will you provide the gerber file or somewher to buy?Yes it wouldnt be a kit without a PCB...
I don't understand, PCBs are included in this KIT... Everything needed to build this SMD IV is included, even 8 PIN DIP connectors...
Watch carefully what he said :
Yes it would not be a kit without a PCB...
Two x negative = positive, not ? 🙂

Hi guys, just a short update I have placed an order for all the parts.
The next update will be when I receive parts and start measuring transistors.

Again, just to be absolutely clear :
The normal SMD FC CEN IV in DIP8 footprint requires +/-15V power supply.
It can be configured to work with +/-12V, with some increase in distortion.
The 15V version is not work with 12V, and vice versa.
If they are to be plugged directly into a circuit meant for normal opamp IV,
you MUST remove Riv and Civ meant originally for opamp IV, or risk damage.
I cannot emphasis this more.

Just sent PM to Ripster for 2 pairs of opamps with +-12V.
But I remember there a post in this thread previously that the kits with 12V and 15V parts for assembly, may you pls correct me, if I am wrong.

This GB is for 15V all the parts were ordered so if you wish to make it 12V Patrick can tell which components need to be changed...
As Patrick has mentioned this is +/-15V IV... And if we all agree it should stay like this.
Since components will be ordered in bulk for the price, it can only be one option.
Maybe Patrick can later share what values would need changing so if someone really wants to change to 12V has that option to order some additional values...

You can adapt to 12V by changing 2 resistors yourself.
Instructions will be provided after matching is done.
