OK did a same size, tuning TH my non standard way Vs your 1/4 WL with mine being for max efficiency and yours (relatively speaking) max BW.
I used your 66 V/2178 W power, but realistically they can only handle 1 kW without using a HP to make them ~ a one note boombox.
I thought Max's original goal was 30-80hz?
See post #121I thought Max's original goal was 30-80hz?
That's where I am at as of now
What you think.
Well, both ours meet it, though admittedly it wasn't a comparison consideration.................I thought Max's original goal was 30-80hz?
OK, here's a comparison of my TH/TTL (150 L) and Max's C Cram (233.83 L) @ 1 kW, so factoring in the box Vb difference and the main difference is a ~ +6 dB/80 Hz 'one note' peak due primarily to its extra folding, tapering, so if size, simple construction is (one of) the primary design goal(s), seems like 'simple is as simple does' .

How it looks?
At this point dunno in that which of these designs best meets the needs of your app?
i guess you don’t understand what we are attempting to show you.Yes BP1, booger and GM was discussing something else..."thread crashers" 😝😝
theres more to this than what is otherwise being considered. look at parallel qw resonators split at exactly 3:1, or look at ‘paraflex’ or look at tapped pipes or offset driver entry Tapped pipes, or ?
Maybe BP1 can explain this better than myself? , I instead observe it(pics are a thousand words) in order to truly understand. the sim shows things are screwed up in the same way if you LOOK….

Ack! Missing new threads caught me out again! I was responding to Max's post.I showed 2pi (3rd & 7th screen shot) and 0.5pi (8th screenshot). I used your text file for the speaker parameters.
I model in feet. I usually keep the horn paths in the 10-12 feet range.
10 feet horns are the sweet spot. That length gets you down to 25 hertz. I'm a basshead and like DJ Magic Mike type tracks. Remember, the lowest frequency played on an 88 key piano is 27.5 hertz. 50 hertz BASS bins are not SUBwoofers.
10 feet = 120 inches = 304.80 centimeters.
You can have four 30 inch tall segments or double fold.
You can have three 40 inch tall segments (tri-fold?).
You can have two 60 inch tall segments or single fold.
For all you metric folks, notice all the 10 based numbers!

I like the piano refefence BP👍🏼
30 hz with ddx12 is a joke right? In a MLTL indoors maybe? or a huge ROAR. Those are awesome/fun in a car With that driver!
but not as a PA speaker. it won’t be ‘loud’ enough ?
I don’t know, but after a few of things in a car with those, they are extremely loud if you tune them up high(40hz or so) after that, it needs help.

Hmm where be the link? 16 Hz organIndeed! Growing up being gobsmacked on a regular basis by this 16 Hz organ, all my original 'bass' Altec, etc., speakers were just gutless little pipsqueaks.
So then HornResp is screwed up ??30 hz with ddx12 is a joke right?
