The Honey Badger is my first amp build the wiring is not good, but it is quiet so I'm not changing it.
I've been "building" mine very tidy and precise as possible since 2015... I'd take messy and functional at this point, lol.
When mounted vertically, the long sides would need to be horizontally, of course ;-).the boards are pretty wide, don't know if they would have fit vertically.
Best regards!
Even though there is a wall between the transformer and the input wiring, I could see how you could get some magnetic induction going on in that input wiring. In this case, I would try running the input wiring down the other wall as high and away from the outputs as possible. More in depth changes, switch the transformer and caps positions and mount the transformer to the outer wall if possible. Is the on-off switch wiring running down the amp board side of the enclosure? If yes, drill a hole, use a bushing and run that wiring down the power supply side of the enclosure.
Can't tell if there is room. May try the transformer mounted up and down instead of sideways also. You would need to leave it loose and try it.
Those are some good ideas to try. I have been able to improve by about 8-9 dB with changes in wiring and input cable. Would make sense to move that input wiring to back wall though. BUT while troubleshooting found something that is a bigger problem. I'm getting a burst in DC measured at the speaker terminals. Goes from 4-6mV to burst of 250-350mV dc. Very quick and only in one channel. It is periodic at every 10 seconds. Not sure what is causing that. I will post some scope shots. Might need to start a new post dedicated to that.
Some links and docs for you guys.

Yes the Hifisonix material is the best presentation on hum and grounding issues. Used it to fix another amplifier and improved by 40dB. It's all about the Loop area.
What do you have in that amp $100K. Are you using kapton tape as your insulator for trannies? That is a good idea. Go check this out and see if you guys can help me?
So while working on lowering hum in my HB I noticed some strange behavior out of one channel of my amp. All measurements are taken with both inputs shorted and a speaker connected to the offending channel. While listening to hum I noticed this periodic issue. It happens like clockwork about every 10 seconds. On the scope it is getting a burst of DC from normal being 4-6mV dc to over 300mv when it occurs. It also looks like some oscillation on recovery. I'll attach scope shots. The shots are in order at a faster timebase each pic. Not sure where to start troubleshooting?? Maybe...
I did all that fabrication work myself. You don't need alot of fancy equipment just time. The best part of the journey for me was the learning experience. What do you have in that amp $100K.
In one shot it looks like you may be troubleshooting some hum issues. The transformer is setting outside Amp connected with long leads?
That was me just confirming some mechanical noise was actually coming from the AnTek transform, hence why I potted it.In one shot it looks like you may be troubleshooting some hum issues. The transformer is setting outside Amp connected with long leads?
I did however have a noise and oscillation issue when I first built the honey badger. It turned out to be D3 and R19. If you search this thread for posts by me you can read all about it and check out the solution
Hello friends ,
May I say that I am confused a lot.
You write that the HB is a good amp, but a I've seen a lots of BOMs in the discussion for the HB build, and I don't understand what's the "correct " one.
I don't understand what to order.
If you are kind to help me.
I have so far, 4u from modushop.biz, 2X45/800VA , the pcb from the store and I am ready for the parts.

It's been a while since I built mine, but they are still running great. Maybe this helps a bit:
