DIY PC/Desktop Setup

Updated the pcb layout, changed a couple of footprints and rearranged everything.
Made copper zones where I could:

@xXBrunoXx in the end I want to order everything on Digikey, I found this toroidal transformer:
https://www.digikey.it/it/products/detail/triad-magnetics/VPT18-13800/2090089

It is 250VA with 13A output instead of the 300VA and 8A output, can I still use this one?
Instead of this:

C1 , C2 , C3 , C4 , C6, C7. both pins are connected togheter ?. seems like they are in short.
They are not shorted, kicad places a thermal relief (i believe its called) around the pin that is not connected to the relevant plane.
The V- pin is "crossed" with a X to the relevant pin of the cap, the GND pin is "crossed" with a + sign to the relevant pin of the cap. The software is also not warning about any shorts.
But thank you for pointing it out anyways, i ordered the PCB's, they should arrive on the first week of february 🤩

Sorry , I did not know that, I don't use kicad. For what I do EasyEDA does just fine. better alternatives would be Altium but you have to buy it or " become a pirate " .

Hello again,

I am GENUINELY sorry if I was not active for a very long time, I had to solve some other little problems...

little update on my situation, I assembled the board and here it is:
amplifierboard.jpeg

i was not able to test it until now, the reason for that, is that i firstly ordered the wrong stuff from amazon, then i sent it back and reordered it.
This week the rectifier board should arrive and the order is complete, so i can give it a test.

Regarding the speakers, I live in Europe, and if i want to order something from parts-express, i almost have a 200$ shipping fee, which makes the speakers waaay to expensive.
So I am looking literally every day on some other sites, where i am supposed to get them at a reasonable price, but they are always out of stock, like here:

https://www.nonsolospeakers.com/diy...e-mt-speaker-kits-pair-including-housing.html

except for the center channel:

@xXBrunoXx but I am not so sure about that.

In the mean time I was looking for the measurement of the single cabinet, but I only find the build plans for the speaker in inches, and recalculating them in metric values gives some strange numbers...

so yeah, I am trying to complete it all along, just have to be patient

@fancy_user_123 Board looks nice !.

Just round the numbers , 11 inches = 27,94cm so 28cm . 9.5 inch to cm 24.13 so 24 cm . Original plans are for 1/2inch mdf , 12.7mm MDF , if you plan to make them yourself I would make them from 16 or 18 mm MDF . And use some wooden braces to reinforce the cabinet as well , two pieces inside the cabinet from wall to wall ( lateral walls ) or something like this

You can find a shop to buy MDF I'm sure , as for tools a router drill and a cheap set of bits . Cutting the board would be harder if you don't have access to a table saw. electric jigsaw will do but it won't cut so precisely.
