That would be one way of lowering the humm. I think you just cut the bottom end out of the bandwidth of the amp.
If you built the amp with 10k input, you now have a -3dB of 106Hz, should cut the humm nicely.
Thanks, I was wondering about how it would affect the input stage. Yes I used the 10k input.
So, I'll restore the 10uf caps.
What next? Separate chassis for the Power supply? I guess I could try and test it with the PS outside and away from the chassis.
Any suggestions are welcome.

Is there Hum when you short the inputs, or only when its connected to a preamp? Have you read the drop box slide from Bonsai in regards to chassis wiring?
After taking a very close ear to the speakers, with the inputs shorted, Yes, there is hum.Is there Hum when you short the inputs, or only when its connected to a preamp? Have you read the drop box slide from Bonsai in regards to chassis wiring?
but less? You need to read Bonsai's document, that would be my first suggestion. That torid and AC secondary wiring is far from ideal
Apart from the initial suggestions that I sent you via pm and the ones given by @fireanimal I suggest that you review the information that @danieljw put together in his how to wire a amplifier youtube video. Its quite visual so that may make it easier.Any suggestions are welcome.
Wiring your amplifier
good luck
I need to get one of the 5U chassis but they are out of stock. Would love to get one just for the room it would give.
Part of your hum problem may be caused by the interlinks forming a inter channel ground loop over the signal source. Disconnect the shielding at one side to see what difference this makes. Safety earth can also be a trouble maker.
On a side note, some years Modushop has offered discounts around black Friday.

Assuming you are talking about the Deluxe 5U chassis, yes it comes with a inner baseplate. Otherwise if you are talking about a standard Dissipante chassis you need to order it separately.Does it come with the bottom plate or would I also order the Plate for the 300MM chassis?
