I like it, but it'll be hard to fit into a 4U/300 case at 20 cm long (bearing in mind the baseplate is 26 cm). For 400mm Deep chassis you can fit two and do dual mono, so looks pretty good for that purpose.


Would it be possible to make it fat and wide, a bit like this?

Prasi, that is excellent! With that you can even build a dual mono setup in the 4U/300 chassis using a pair of stacked toroidy transformers (e.g.) - see illustration.

Nice, that ensures a little more clearance for bridges/AC wiring etc, and also some better space from boards to heatsinks if using the 4U/300 chassis.

OK , here is the refined version.
If anyone is intereted, pl state your requirements now.
if requirements go above 50 , i will produce pcbs and supply. pcb is 150mm x 150mm.
same specs; 2.4mm thick, 70um cu, green mask, white silk, double sided. cost about 9 usd per piece+ paypal+shipping as before.

otherwise, it will go into analog design archive😉.

Maybe adding Faston tabs for an inductor to be connected (CRCLC).
Will the diode section be removable if using bridge rectifiers?
I would take 4 pcb’s.

yes diode section can be cut off with a table saw at the line marked @120mm.
