My grandfather traded between Trieste and Obrov in (now) Slovenia.
Many stories of Africa and some guy called Tito.
I think more Tottos song Africa.

34 Ohm, but essentially yes.
Yes.
You mean "Use SIM BCK for DEM if NOT stopped and NOT attenuated?
Continuous and with no attenuation (AYA5), yep direct link ..
PS, perhaps the tack I took for the CI in the TDA1541 output on the later version of the CD-77 is of interest:
It is in effect a current mirror with gain.
Q8 & R47 provide a temperature dependent reference voltage of ~ 0.53V +1Vbe Q6/7.
R57 -> R47 attenuate noise on -15V by a factor 20 (26dB)
C96 (220uF) with R57 // R47 forms an 0.7Hz lowpass, so at 27 Hz the already 26dB attenuated noise from -15V is reduced by a further 32dB, for a total of - 58dB, similar to the PSRR of the actual TDA1541 on the -15V rail.
The 0.53 is replicated by Q6/7 across R44/46 respectively causing close to 2mA (1.963mA to be precise) current flow with low self noise and a similar or better PSRR to +5V and -15V as the TDA1541 itself. The output impedance of these current sources is in the region of many MOhm.
If you have them, genuine 2SA970BL are preferred over BC857/557.
This is especially good with fairly noisy regulators (e.g. TL431 at -94dBV wideband).

This is an offset circuit to null the output current to zero volt DC at 1541A output(s)?

Many stories of Africa and some guy called Tito.
Stories of what I remember mostly as a pretty terrible place and a worse guy.
Goli Otok (barren Island) is no longer barren.
Behind each tree is a story. On Tito's order, political prisoners were shipped to the island and had to work in quarries and plant trees and shade the tree saplings from the scorching sun with their bodies.
I think more Tottos song Africa.

Me, more this:
We wake up late and party way too soon.
We spend our days just waiting for the moon.
This is the way of life I'm feeling.
This is the Lazy Life we're living.
Wake up tomorrow and do it again.

Yes.
I'm happy to bias the grid of 'output' tube with the -2mADC offset through R (Vg).
No need.
I was thinking more @lcsaszar and some others...
Thor
he was conscripted under Mussolini and sent to Africa as part of .. whatever that was.
Invasion of Abyssinia? There was a clash between Abyssinian troops and Italian troops at some stupid oasis that by all accounts was started by Abyssinia. So naturally the Italians were the bad guys.
Unbelievable the the Eytalians invaded and did nothing to improve the food there! It's dire, don't ask how I know.
The snail "Boerwurst" from German Southwest Africa is delicious and Namibia has good bread.
In a lot of former french colonies food is great. Just give me a Ban Mi from 'nam.
Portugese in Macao gave us these insanely delicious egg tarts.

Okay, I can do un-edited.
The (not my) story is just that. A story.
To all.
For me, I take it as all that and more.
For me.
For real - take the lid off, if you dare.
Sniff - what do you smell?
Any now?.
Shrink back to a schematic,
Enough.

My grandfather went to Partisans (Titos army) when he was 12y old, he got wounded trough his shoulder at that young age, still continued to fight. When war was over, he started working as a teacher. He had a habit to start his first class with reading newspapers to his class. One day, inspection came, he started his day as usual, but in newspapers there was an article that wasn't very fond of Tito. He got warned to stop reading the newspaper, which he didn't as it was his principle, next minute he got escorted out, and shipped to goli otok. Dictatorship was quite heavy in Tito, it was his own man, who bled for him, and still he was shipped out to that prison where one of the sentences was to move rocks from one side of the yard to the other, and then back again. Many sad stories from that place.Behind each tree is a story. On Tito's order, political prisoners were shipped to the island and had to work in quarries and plant trees and shade the tree saplings from the scorching sun with their bodies.
Tito
He was a dictator no question about that but there were many others much worse from him ( not meaning to defend him ).
In previous regime under the King Alexander my grandfather was an officer in the royal army and he with two of his army buddies were arrested on charges for subverzing / overturning the constitution ( they were socialists and leftists, not Comm party memebers and talked publicly about some hard living conditions which was received as talk against royal family additionally ) - year and a half in various military prisons, possible death sentence - they got away, not convicted and still in the army but closely watched afterwards ).
So much about the guys rulling the country.

Balinese ordinary coffee is phenomenal, just little short of famous Kopi Luwak.
Otq are you living in Thailand now Bangkok or ????
A few hours south of Krung Thep Maha Nakhon.

There were also many non-democratic rulers much lass worse than him (not meaning to defend them).
There is something I notice, a lack of checks and balances (no necessarily democracy, but it seems the best we found so far) brings out the worst in people.
In previous regime
Seems we all have stories of the past to tell. Europe is literally "storied", but the real question is "quo vadis?"

It is indeed great.
When I lived in HK and South China I had a girlfriend, a pretty little Bali girl (sing that to Ed Sheeran Galway Girl and yes, she did beat me at darts at "old china hand" and at pool in a place on lockheart road the name of which escapes me now and she did dance on a table as well, no Carrickfergus though).
She always got me coffee from Bali when visiting home.

Wow, much action latelly....(I think his power DAC should sound even better than a TDA1541A at the end which are our ears/brain, but here we have to ask to someone who tried, I remember @maxlorenz had one)
No, dear, I have a Mosaic DAC but I do not have a TDA1541 to compare it to...
I am waiting that international shippings become "normal" and that (overt and covert) conflagration ceases to aquire the New PowerDAC....but probably -ECDesigns- will come up with a new design prior to that....
Besides, I've been having much more fun with my OTARI R2R so that digital sources are in a second priority....
Much Love to All,
M.
Hello Max, ah my bad memory, I thougth you both had a TDA1541A from ECDESIGNS and his post Mosaic DACS ladder w/o 1541A ! My bad !
Should be @youknowyou who had a TDA1541A from John ! We need to met all in an Adis Adeba cafe, singing and let sing all the DAC !

West African Griot!
While I never saw him, I heard a lot of bands sounding similar in the Clubs from Monrovia to Lagos. Of course, long ago by now.

Wow in ways we similar travelling for work etc. Was stationed in Krung Thep for about 3 yrs way back when.LolA few hours south of Krung Thep Maha Nakhon.

Use to like going to the part in Krung Thep where all the electronic parts street & mall to walk around. Oh & that's where
I bought my collection of 1541 including a couple of S1's. What's your take on the Audio scene there including diy.
Cheers

it was some issue with the Arduino I2S.h library or the ESP8266 itself. I asked OpenAI ChatGPT what to do, and he/she advised to insert one sampling period delay (buffering the previous sample) in the R channel.
Now both channels are perfectly in sync.
Next action will be to mimic a balanced (dual mono) configuration by adding L+R using the same input (full scale dithered sine and -60 dBFS dithered sine) and see the distortion spectrum, compared to individual channels. Results will follow.
