It's connected in the + leg of the input jack to +V connection on the PCB. Just like the picture. 🙂

Very interesting project.
Looks like there is a 19 and 24v version. If I was going to build the 19v version what is the bias value in A/ channel and the required heatsink per channel, a rough number will do in c/w please. Or pls simply attach the link for the right heatsink size.
Thanks
Eric

Oh, ok. Was thinking like L'amp, but the choke is on souce side on MoFo.

I’m going ahead w this project.
If I’m aiming for the regular MoFo at 19v w a 1.7A bias do you folks use the Meanwell GST90A19 or the GST90A24 w a cap mult which will bring down the 24v by a few volts.
I guess I’m asking if the CM is mandatory since the original design didn’t use one.
ps I have high efficiency drivers so hum is my enemy.
Thanks
Eric

The noise with noting more than the standard 19V Meanwell in the parts list is around 3uV, or about 0.000000000001125 watts into an 8 ohm speaker. Do a few trillionths of a watt keep you awake at night? I leave it to you to decide. 🙂

Very nice, looks like the ACA.
Are you aware if this 150W is quiet ? Sometime buying smps is a gamble.
Good luck w your build.

No idea yet.
Vidi I like your cases, commercially available or DIY?
Thanks
David
It's diy. Called modushop/hifi2000 in italy and they don't have one this size. Figured they might since they make the ACA case, but no luck. If they had monoblocks like this, would have been done a month ago. 🙂
They are ideal for mono-blocks,
Is this a case of not being able to supply a custom design (ACA case), to someone other than the original contract holder and if so can we get the store to order a bunch more or release the OEM to make the design public domain?
cheers
