I've finally started working on my Babel J2 kit. I've stuffed the resistors and appear to have received 4 * 270R. As far as I can see in the schematic there are only 2 * 270R needed but would like confirmation. I'm also missing 2 * 100R so I'm trying to figure out if I mis-stuffed or what.
Can any of you eagle eyes spot something amiss?

P.s. I would include pictures of the back but they mostly would show a forest of uncut leads since I haven't soldered anything yet. The boards I received from ZM have bottom-side SMD J101-104, SMD capacitors on T107 and T109, and top-side SMD C104.

as I said, there are few more positions to include 1n smd caps, to increse stability even for most critical combo of transistors (think beta)
every sperm is sacred, who cares for pins weed
besides, in case of any suspicious soldering point, someone could see it and prevent trouble

I went through the same thing in both my builds.
MZM is always including some extra resistors fir greedy boyz who want to try different flavors or can’t make up their minds what they want.
I think extra 270R is for R118…when you would have to swap it while trying Semisouth down…and R122 would change to 82R.
I can’t remember now why I came up also short 100R …but it happened in both builds.
Just MZM’s way of making sure we don’t fall asleep 😉

Also…R123 may vary depending on how you are building…All IRFP, Semisouth down, all Semisouth?

AFAIK I don’t have semisouth devices; bought a full kit from ZM awhile ago. Seems to be all IRFP. R118 = 820R and R122 = 270R.

I pulled each resistor out of the board, one at a time, to double check them with my component tester. Found no issues, which confirms that I've got an extra 2 * 270R while missing 2 * 100R. Will dig through my stash of parts from other projects for leftover 100Rs.
order smallest 1nF caps with pins you can find, 63V will do; 4pcs
that, or SMD ones, but easier with pins

The only thing close to 1nF I have on hand are some WIMA film, 0.01uF (10nF), 250v. Would they work?

I do have a bunch of 1uF caps.

Edit: Posted screw up pic…don’t mess up and put cap at M103 first like I did. Edited pic to show where M101 is on bottom of Right channel board (red circle). I don’t have a pic showing proper pins at M101. Cap shown is at T111.
Is this what you are talking about MZM?
We added these at what looks like M101 and T111 on my amp boards to get them to behave and not make noise especially during power up.

Will resist OCD fit…took another fullranger excursion when I impulse bought BHH (Big Honkin Horns) I did always want to try.
Too busy tweaking and obsessing over many new toys I want to play with in them.
