I have a couple of 5V wall warts that a plugged into a few devices that may need up to 2A of power. Can I use the UcConditionner MK II/Pro for those devices as a quick way to get cleaner power?
Hi, do I understand correctly that to play 705.6kHz/768kHz from hqplayer in Sync Mode (128FS) I have to have 90.3168MHz/98.3040MHz clocks installed into FifoPiQ7?
I'm considering ES9038Q2M Dual Mono II with FifoPiQ7 but I'd like to oversample externally.
Thanks.

Raspberry Pi 5 powered by LinearPi mkii 2.5A.
Is this possible or have anyone tried this?
Can the power hungry Pi 5 run without issues or can the power of the pi 5 be configured slightly lower…
Thanks in advance 🙂

I'll think about it.... it also depends a bit on what the spider Rack costs and whether it is exactly the same.@gizmo3 Looking very nice.
btw, if you're ever looking to add to that spider rack, I have that rack here I that I don't use anymore.
Dude, we are kindred spirits for sure. I wish you were my next door neighbor, we'd have so much fun. But our wives would wonder what was going on...LOL.everything built in new cabinet, the beginning is already here.
My setup is based on a RasberryPi5, and I am using a UcPi to power it. I have a UCPure for the 3.3 on my DAC and Q7. I even have the Pi setup with the active cooling. No issues that I know of. The issues I was having I am pretty sure are solved.Raspberry Pi 5 powered by LinearPi mkii 2.5A.

just an update.
Front on/off button plus LED power on/off indication ready plus rear inputs also ready.
Now only the front rotary encoder button, infrared, pure output LED indication plus the monitor Pi pro can be built in.
so we are still busy for a while.

Hi,
I need advice on power connectivity options.
Current Setup:
We are using Pure Pi II to achieve both Streamer and DAC in one stack with the following components:
As next move Planning to Add UcConditioner MkII 3.3V:
To integrate UcConditioner MkII 3.3V, here’s the planned power connections:
I want to ensure these connections won't create any challenges, especially Point 4 - when using the same Pure Pi II 3.3V port to DAC IN after integrating with UcConditioner MkII 3.3V.
Clarification to Point 1 with solution if available.
Please advise if you foresee any issues with these planned connections to support both Stream and DAC stack.
Thanks a lot in advance.
I need advice on power connectivity options.
Current Setup:
We are using Pure Pi II to achieve both Streamer and DAC in one stack with the following components:
- Pure Pi II
- RPi5
- DDC+USB
- Q7
- AES
- Dual Mono II
- OPA861
- Following one of Gabster video, we have powered the OPA861 using two 5V 3A adapters with “+ (+ -) – “ connections.
- Interconnected wiring from Pure Pi II 3.3V to Q7 3.3V, and another cable from the same Pure Pi II 3.3V port to the Dual Mono II DAC IN.
- Using the 27W RPi 5 official adapter plugged into the Pure Pi II Type C charging port is problematic - Stack starts but shuts down in 2-3 seconds. Many have reported that this adapter works with Pure Pi II, so I may be missing something. Any settings I should check?
- Currently, I'm using the 27W RPi 5 official adapter plugged into the RPi Type C charging port, which brings up the entire stack.
- If I connect the 27W adapter this way, am I not fully utilizing Pure Pi II functionalities? (from the observation looks like Pure Pi II is also functional with batteries backup). Are there any disadvantages or quality differences with such RPi 5 direct connection instead through Pure Pi II?

To integrate UcConditioner MkII 3.3V, here’s the planned power connections:
- 27W RPi 5 official adapter plugged into the RPi 5 Type C charging port (If there's a fix to work with the Pure Pi II Type C port, I'm happy to follow).
- Pure Pi II 3.3V to UcConditioner MkII 3.3V IN.
- UcConditioner MkII 3.3V OUT to Q7 3.3V IN.
- Another interconnection from the same Pure Pi II 3.3V to the Dual Mono II DAC card (Is this feasible without issues?).
- Dual 5V 3A power adapter connected to OPA861 with “+ (+ -) – “ connections.
I want to ensure these connections won't create any challenges, especially Point 4 - when using the same Pure Pi II 3.3V port to DAC IN after integrating with UcConditioner MkII 3.3V.

Hi Panos - sorry it's been so long, I've had some failing tube problems which are now resolved. I love Gabi's TD1 DAC (and the help he provided 🙂)@Steviewunda looking forward to your impressions, when you are ready. With great interest!
In my system I prefer the musicality of Gabi's TD1 DAC - it's slightly more 'open' sounding (huge soundscape) and musical elements seem better defined (separated). Of course I don't know your system, but I would be very surprised if you didn't like Gabi's DAC - with the reservation that you will be taking the TDA1541A crapshoot like we all do 😉
Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows when the Iancanada shop will be up and available for ordering again.
I would think as soon as he can ship orders again.Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows when the Iancanada shop will be up and available for ordering again.
I was wondering if international shipping could be done via DHL? Google says it is not affected by Canada Post's strike.
Thanks for the reply. I'd probably ask Ian if DHL shipping is an option after the store is back up.
Hi @Steviewunda, I am another Greek guy like Panos in the process of building the TDA1541A DAC.Hi Panos - sorry it's been so long, I've had some failing tube problems which are now resolved. I love Gabi's TD1 DAC (and the help he provided 🙂)

I also want to ask which software are you using? I am trying to setup PiCorePlayer with down-sample to 44100Hz. Also want to ask if also the bit depth should be adjusted to 16Bit. Currently, I see from IAN CANADA MONITORPI shows 32b on the top right corner of the screen.
