They are ready to ship out:

And by the way we are going to make an output shield with 2 x60watt into 4 ohms load when running at 24vdc. It is based on tpa3244

Together with the dac it is possible to make a compact digital only integrated amplifier for 528€ excluding chassis and power supply.
With powersupply and chassis it will be possible to make a amplifier for less 800€ which will real high end sound.

Sounds really interesting... Where are we SQ wise compared to your TSSA low powered offerings? Will there be an option for analog input? And maybe an aptX Bluetooth module one day? 🙂 BR, Per

Hy Mr. Sonny,
i'm still waithing news about my order! :wave2:

It is very simple.

The output boards are all made and tested.

The DAC boards are made but they are a little complex, and our assembly has been a little careless with the solderpaste, so we have shorts on some of the finepitch pins on the DAC boards. 🙁😡🙁

So we are removing those solderballs and testing them afterwards. At present time i am working on 3 boards from the first batch that has this problem.

Can share some of your built with the music server side? Programs power supply to use etc. Usb vs spdif. I had some conflicting info that some prefer spdif and some prefer usb.

I test my gear at a friend's house who is an avid diy we as well with high end gear. Audio karma elegance speakers and full acoustic treatments. So would like to research how to max out Dac and audio servers. The DAC we are using range from korg. Ifi. Chord..some sharing and experiences is appreciated thanks

Thanks in advance

No news? SB

Yes there is, we are shipping more out this weekend.

secondly we have updated the firmware but as with the frontpanel you can do a firmware upgrade using a Seriel port (USB to RS232).

I have a new firmware for the OLED display as well. Birk got some updates yesterday for controlling the new DAC with that as well.

Do you also have a firmware for the previous gen DAC with preamplifier and Oled display on its way?

Thanks

Hi ,

Can anyone help me with a picture of USB to RS232 converter cable?
I unplugged the threads from the 3-pin plastic plug and now i do not know how it was 🙁
I want to try to upgrade to the front panel, besides the volume and the source, I do not see anything.
Thank you.

Thanks Sonny, I'll wait for the parcel from you.

I have one more question🙂
I accidentally deleted it from the USB stick received from you and from
computer this driver: Xmos-stereo-USB-Audio-Class2-driver-305C (v2.26.0)
I tried to get him out of here:
AK4490 USB Dac with dsd support – Discrete DIFF/SE shield, PCM Filter setting | Mirand Audio - Solidstate designs.
Can you please confirm that this driver on Mirand Audio - Solidstate designs is OK and has no problems?
JRiver runs Audio-Class2-driver-305C, but when I press the player, an error is always displayed.
I found that when I want to load in " xmosusbaudiost305C_dfuapp.exe " I always get a DLL error...

Thank you.

Best regards.
