AK4490 USB Dac with dsd support.

By using the LPS board it is very easy to get it running.

On the picture we can see how simple the power wiring of the DAC can be,

Hi Sonnya. Sorry I don't look at my hotmail address that often.
That's ok, just got the dac a few minutes ago 😉

However I paid 5EUR extra for the encoder extra pcb that goes with the small front controller and it was not into the box (just the PCB, I bought the encoder)

Can you send me the small encoder pcb into a mail envellop?

Thanks
SB

Yes for sure

With all the USB Audio DAC V1.2 we have supplied a RS232 female DSUB cable.

It fits directly into a standard USB to RS232 cable.

I would strongly suggest that you all get the SAM-BA V2.15 bootloader.

A link to the bootloader : sam-ba_2.15.exe

The simple frontpanel is connected using a 0.5mm pitch 30 pin FFC cable Same side connector.

Würth part number:687 630 050 002 (50mm)
Würth part number:687 630 100 002 (100mm)
Würth part number:687 630 152 002 (150mm)
Würth part number:687 630 200 002 (200mm)

Molex P/N: 0151660333 digikey part number WM11402-ND (254mm)

Be careful when pulling up the Lock. If pulled to much it will break off.

On the picture it can be seen how the cable should be inserted. Be sure that it is installed in parallel with the connector a little off angle and it will not work.
