Sometimes 4.9 does this, slight changes in mesh might sideline the issue. I have not found out why it would get stuck in a loop. Currently my computer is simulating and I do not want to mess with the ABEC project.

Would this help to solve my issue? I am still troubleshooting but I have no clue what causes the problem.It could be interesting to get an impulse response from the simulated data, to see if there's anything that resembles such phenomena.
I recently updated to Windows 11. Today I have uninstalled and reinstalled both ABEC, as well as VACS.
I ran a 200 frequencies simulation overnight and the phase issue was still present. It was based on the mesh settings that limacon had provided. IIRC, his served okay. After reinstalling ABEC and VACS I ran a lower resolution 50 frequencies simulation of the same mesh with all the same settings. The first mesh generated with Ath 4.9, the second with Ath 4.8.3.beta2.
The issue is equally present in the FRDs of the ABEC simulations that the different versions generated.
I forgot saving the ABEC folder from the 200 frequencies run, but have the FRDs. I attached a bulk of files for anyone who might find in them the cause of this. The box geometry is basically unchanged since many months and had been simulated without this issue before.

In the drivers section of Vituix under the list of response files there is a check box for minimum phase. You can tick that and see if all the wrapping disappears and leaves a nice trace, if it does then something has gone wrong in compensating the propagation delay in the Ath FRD export.

Check down on the bottom bar and see if fields are green or red once they have been calculated you can click on the frequencies shown in your image to view the field for that frequency.
I did not calculate the fields. Thank you, calculating the fields made the spherical field observation work in ABEC. This answers the question of how to make the spherical field / SphericalFields observation work with ABEC and ATH Horns (sorry, ham-handedly trying help the search engines). Now I need to figure out how to use the results and understand what they tell me.

Impressive work! I have been thinking about this a lot (and many have speculated about an ATH-MEH). The ATH-generated waveguides are so good. I have been wondering about measurements either before the midrange ports are cut or with them covered. You don't happen to have those, do you? It would be very interesting to compare them with the graphs in your second attachment.

I printed it in two halves on my CR10-V3, epoxied it together. Used some heat-set nut inserts and screws as alignment pins/clampsDid you get the waveguides professionally printed or CNC-ed?

There was some kind of cancellation at 4400hz

Reducing the port length, also slightly smaller diameter, seemed to fix it

Would you use something like Leonard Audio Transmission Line to help calc the port size, perhaps an exp flare across the whole driver face?
I think I could do the same on my large ATH WG with some Faital 3FE22 or Beyma 3FR30.
Can you share your ATH4 2x2 report?
