Not to step on toes, but here are my files.
Board is 2.85" x 9.725" and the Gerbers are in the format that pcbway.com
seems to be happy with.
When I upload these, I get "No outline" error...
JK,Hi Guys,
First of all thanks to NP and Prasi for the design and PCB
I am planning on putting this together, but just had some quick questions. What should the values of L1 and R37 be?
Also at the position C7 should there be a film cap and the electrolytic over it? Also any ideas for good values of the fuses F1 &F2?
Have a transformer with 36V secondaries should five ~50VDC right? Or should go with a lower rail voltage? maybe 24V secondaries?
Thanks for the help
+-50VDC will work fine, my working voltage is +-37VDC.
For the inductor I have used 1.5 mm copper wire wound about 8 times around a 13mm drill shaft to fit the holes in the pcb. For the resistor I have used 10R 3watt and I have used 5A fast blow fuses for the rails. For C7 I just used a 10uf cap. Hope this helps.
Regards

Thanks for the tips, I have some lacquered copper wire that I was gonna use, sounds like it will work, I only have 2,5A fuses but decided for now gonna test this with only 2x18V secondaries, since I have a transformer laying around.
JK,
That will give you +-25V rails. I think I have read that it will work from 25-50Vdc rails without any changes, 2.5 mm copper wire will be ok as well. Best of luck !🙂

What are the differences between Prasis layout and Nelson Pass's layout?
DaveFred, I had a batch made last year using the gerbers posted by Mr Pass
and there was no complain from the fab.

Just a pleasure Andrew !😉
There's a completely free Gerber viewer which runs in your browser, you don't need to give your email address or download anything.

Prasis PCB has TO126 transistor for bias generator (easier mounting on the heatsink) and it has a film input capacitor (space for it).
Also its contain output coil +resistor + reverse protect diodes between rails/output

Of the two Gerbers posted, Mr. Pass in post 463 or by Prasi in post 812, (were there others I missed?), Prasi's is the board to have made?
Can someone point me to a BOM based on original NP design in first post. So hard to search in this forum.
I’ll bite. 😉 Post #832. A little more work is needed as I had some parts on hand already so there may not be a link for every part. But I believe everything is listed.
AB100 Class AB Power Amplifier
And in the future Freecrowder don’t even bother using the forum search function. Google is way easier.

Hey MJ what the hell is your problem?? This whole website is about people working together. Have you not seen in posts all over this site of others inquiring about BOM's. Wake up dude.
Hi All,
Not sure if I posted this previously but I was PM'ed about it so here is the BOM I created for the NP pass boards for those interested.
Thanks!
For the dumb dumbs among us, any chance of filling in Mouser or manufactures part numbers where you used items from your stash?
